- This is the MOC pirate ship of the Lego 6289 Red Beard runner. I borrowed a color combination of 6289 but excluded the color blue and white that was too conspicuous. It's based on a Brig that was used in the early 18th century. Size is 77cm long, 60cm high, 25cm wide. And more than 2,900 pieces of parts were used.

레고 6289 Red Beard Runner(국내발매명 : 지중해의보물선) 느낌의 해적선 창작입니다. 6289의 색조합을 차용하긴 했지만 너무 튀는 파란색과 흰색은 제외했습니다. 18세기초에 사용되던 브리그선을 모티브로 만들었습니다. 크기는 길이 77cm, 높이 60cm, 폭 25cm이고 2,900여개의 부품이 사용되었습니다.

Great Ship remember that there are other colors like blue and white too so if you make a second review think about it, it just an opinion. congrats
That's right. Originally, there are also blue and white. But I think the color stands out too much. So blue and white were removed, and other SNS reviews mentioned this, but not in CZcams videos.

A bit too authentic for the Red Beard Runner if it's a problem at all. I mean the skull carving for the stern is quite a fantasy, yet still a very iconic element of the original ship, this one resembles more like the Schooner.
Thanks for the advice. Skeleton decoration on the stern part is one of the biggest features of the 6289, but when I designed it based on the Brig line of the early 18th century, it seemed a little unsuitable, so I excluded it. And, I borrowed a color combination of 6289 but excluded the color blue and white that was too conspicuous. Skull's Eye Schooner has no yellow color and has three masts, so She decided to succeed Red Beard Runner. Nevertheless, I fully agree that there is no skull decoration on the stern you pointed out. We will try to make better work in the future. Thank you.

Have you ever considered working with maybe a brand like MouldKing (or any other) to make a ship like that into a set (if lego Ideas doesn't work out) ? Or are you not a big fan of the Chinese brands. Your designs just look so professionally made
Thank you for liking my work. But I don't know what Chinese brands mean. First of all, I'm Korean, and rather than cooperating with other brands, I'm going to make and sell the instructions.

You could contact enterprises (most of them are in china like xingbao or qman or cobi from poland or bluebrixx from Germany) and offer them a partnership. They will produce and sell the bricks while you sell the instructions to the customers.
Its a win for all. More people get in contact With your Models... you are able to sell more People your instructions and your customers get mich cheaper bricks and Don“t have to look around for months in BrickLink to get all the bricks they Need for your moc to Build

이 작품은 아이디어즈에 출품하진 않았지만 아마 안될거에요. 기존 제품과 컨셉이 겹치거나 리빌드 한 작품은 더이상 안받더군요ㅠㅠ 따로 인스를 제작해서 판매할 생각입니다^^ 감사합니다!
