Nice car dude! I traded my 15 WRX for a premium model. It’s leagues better than the last gen on so many levels. The looks have grown on me and I get SO many compliments on the car. This new gen is completely a modern car and is so refined. At first I was having regrets trading my 15. I wouldn’t go back after having the 22 for 2 weeks now. I took a downgrade on the trim level compared to my 15 and still feel like I upgraded in every level!!

Same as you, got a great price for my MY15 Premium manual, and have had my new WRX Premium manual ( called the WRX RS here in Australia) for 6 days, and in every conceivable way this is better than my outgoing much loved car. Only done 600kms so keeping the revs under 4000rpm until unleashing it as it says on the can, around 1500kms… won’t take long !
Picking my first Subi up on Friday! Has to have undercoating put on so have to be impatiently patient! In Canada it’s the Sport-tech, Solar Orange 6spd

Im waiting for mine to arrive in september. Base trim black. Personally i like the dual screen more, its less bright and shiny, the other one is too big. Cant wait!
I am a grandpa so I like the split screen infomation feature. The CTV is actually sweet. Mainly because I’ve been driving a manual trans Forester for the last 10 years. And my wife insisted. A small price to pay for a very nice car.
best color and best package with added short shifter, top notch, 17inch wheels look great and without sunroof gets better performance and gas milleage then higher models. I am just curious how's the lumbar support on base seats.
The adaptive suspension would of been nice because just picked up a 2023 6 speed WRX and dam, its a serious sport suspension and seat is firm but comfy enough. Yeah big bummer not offering to 6 speed, but car is Fun and short gearing and handling is great, car can hustle and has grip. For a single guy car has so much room. Mountain Bike fits inside and lay down the seats and l can sleep in the back, So l plant to travel, first upgrades are Air Filter, Steering Wheel and Exhaust. Going STI factory because of Warranty and sounds good
I'm looking to purchase a 2nd car just to have fun on weekends. Should I buy the Premium trim or should the Base model be enough? I see you have the base model. How's the infotainment system? Should I take the one with the tablet style?
Either way it will look old in a few years. I would save a pretty penny and go with the base or whatever you can find. Or, since it’s a second car, why not a brz or a Miata? Enjoy!

I bought an BRZ but the dealership called me to tell me that the WR Blue Saphire ( the color I wanted) was not available and that I had to wait for it more than a month...(after a previous wait of 40 days). I was kinda mad at the beginning , then they called me back and offered me a Base WRX, I said Yes and I am really happy!!! I will pick it up next week. Will put some MODs: F1 brake light, ducktail spoiler and Led Fog lights.
@@bkhavityoway23technically no but could cause extra wear to the clutch if you just dump it when down shifting, there is a way to down shift without rev matching using only the clutch it is just a little slower
If you want a pile of shit car that handles like an overpriced go cart that’s not even fast. This is the car to buy! Lmao Oh don’t forget that there’s lot of plastic that’ll fade and the rear end looks nearly identical to a Honda

I love a sunroof! I would never buy a vehicle without one. Performance and gas mileage difference is negligible.
base way to go dont want sunroof and do want less rubber band style tires and wheels!
@steve8803 sunroof gets in the way in this car if you're over 6 feet tall.
