I used this method for my Bowsette and it was my first time EVER doing a wig...It turned out so well!!!!! No one could believe it was my first wig!

Oh I'm a girl so I never watched Hercules. ^u^ I thought the name Megara sounded familiar though, but like a vocaloid name, also since that's who a lot of people like to cosplay as. There's so many vocaloids I can't keep track of them all.

In my opinion, all ponytails should be giant. What's the point if they aren't?

Thank you for this tutorial. I have a bowsette cosplay, but I didnt use a wig because I didn't know how I would do a ponytail (so I used my own hair). This helps a lot!
You NEVER want to use your own hair for cosplay. It doesnt look good, and it just is a rookie mistake. Always use a wig
@@shockdartbique8991 It actually fit the cosplay pretty well. I suppose only if your hair is made for the cosplay.

Luna Suburbia It’s true that wigs often look more accurate to the character, but that doesn’t mean that using your natural hair is always bad. Also, not everyone has the resources or access to wigs. Maybe don’t tell people what they should and shouldn’t do. I didn’t see anyone asking for criticism.

Your ponytail tutorials (the other being Bowsette) helped me figure out a pigtail attachment I've been struggling with for so long. I desperately needed this
I love this, I also love how this kind of styling technique could be applied for an "everyday" wig too. I personally love a super voluminous ponytail and hate damaging my hair to get one because as she said, you CAN use ponytail clips instead of 2 wigs

I learned the teasing & hairspray part of regular hair volume from the hairstylists I used to work with (am a massage therapist). But I've always thought about doing more anime style looks for Halloween or cosplay, so this is extra helpful!!

I'm new to anime, cosplay and all that stuff, but i want to try cosplaying as Deidara from Naruto Shippuden with a friend as Tobi. so I went looking on how to style wigs and this came up. I. AM. SO. THANKFUL. that I found this tutorial. I'm hoping i can get it done in time for Halloween, even though covid is gonna mess it up.
