Prepare to embark on a mesmerizing journey into a realm of exhilarating music and astonishing theatrics! Static-X's unveiling of their lineup prior to the pandemic evoked fervent anticipation amongst fans, who eagerly awaited the reveal of the enigmatic Xer0. The musician's concealed identity triggered a frenzy of speculation, with rumors abound that the legendary Edsel Dope himself might be the one behind the mask. While Xer0's true identity remains veiled in secrecy, there are undeniably striking resemblances between this mysterious figure and Dope, such as a conspicuous neck tattoo.
However, the allure of the music supersedes the mystery of the man behind the mask. With Xer0 as their vessel, Static-X has delivered their signature malevolent disco to an entirely new generation. Xer0's revamped appearance is truly awe-inspiring, featuring radiant red eyes, hair resembling Wayne's iconic cable-like locks, and robot-like arms and hands that are guaranteed to leave one breathless.
And the music? A pure rush of adrenaline-fueled brilliance! From the invigorating opening sequence of four songs from their acclaimed 2001 album, Machine, to the explosive energy of their debut album, Wisconsin Death Trip, every moment is a tribute to the band's remarkable aptitude and unbridled creativity. The inclusion of a Nine Inch Nails cover further imbued the performance with an invigorating sense of novelty and thrill.
Nevertheless, the pinnacle of the night was the encore, an astonishing tribute to the late, great Wayne that left the audience in tears. As snowflakes gently cascaded upon the crowd, the band played some of their most beloved hits, including "Cold," "I'm With Stupid," and "Push It." The band's robotic mascot, adorned with a colossal "X" on its head, commanded the stage with an electrifying presence, wielding a menacing shovel. This nameless character was the perfect embodiment of everything that makes Static-X a truly unforgettable and distinctive band.

I am usually in the pit! But after surveying the scene the VIP area was way better for capturing the feeling of this concert. Plus I think that dude maybe died during Fear Factory I hope he's OK. Check my Fear Factory video about 18 mins in. Next time PIT
@@LiveRockMusic yeah man i hope that dudes ok. Whats crazy is he wasnt even in the actual pit, he was left stage. I thought it was a fight at first.
Also, completely understand the idea of capturing the show visually. The audio was SUPER different down low. I wish i got more footage cause the sound was really solid.
