WAI No Comment Episode 162
Starship is the most documented “building something from scratch” event in human history.
it's amazing, and heartening, that everyone there is on board and working so hard, this has to be one of the fastest moving projects ever.
And because of this, russia and china are gonna build theirs fast af.. russia will start once the war is over and they're kicking themselves having to start over after another tsar has failed, china has already started because they can't afford to let America stay in the front, reason being that America tends to make treaty's, and china just want to grab anything they can by law, to hold for their own..
When people in my area (Rio Grande Valley) have an opinion of SpaceX's presence here it's either a) It's fantastic or b) they are ruining the wildlife reserve. If I ever find myself defending SpaceX I will point out how small their operation is in relation to the wildlife reserve. Videos like these show how small their footprint is
The animals of the wildlife preserve have acclimated to the presence of Starbase. The animals consider it a part of the landscape now. In fact, hawks, eagles, and owls can be seen using the towers, the talk buildings as perches to spy for prey day and night. I wouldn't be surprised is they are nesting up there.
Small footprint with big impact. It is not a clean operation.
what i'd like is for us to move to other planets and moons and keep earth free from humans, a nature reserve.
@@maryellerd4187 nothing humans do is clean, the best thing is to get to mare and we all move there. (ii know, it won't happen, just saying).
Humanity has a responsibility to take the precious candle called Life OFF its vulnerable nursery world. The universe is too dangerous to put all our eggs in one basket. Environmentalists are criminally short-sighted.@@maryellerd4187
Thanks Felix!!! Love your content❤
Really enjoying these videos, in particular the music selection. Please don't change it (or at least change it too much). It's also really nice to see some perspectives we haven't seen before.
Dang. These photos make star base look so small. Yet there getting so much done!
it is weird, scale, when you look up at a jumbo jet at 30,000 feet and those two tiny dots of wings take it half way round the world (in fuel i mean) it's amazing how small our projects really are.
Flyovers are the best!
Thanks for my SpaceX fix
superbe vidéo comme d'habitude merci
hooooo those perspectives are mad
John's flyover of the launch site got me to thinking... I believe if there's going to be a second launch mount on this site, it will be where the vertical tank farm is now.
FTS Special!
what is the purpose of Ground Fabrication Building?
They could be Starlink dishes. They certainly don't appear to be vents...
Screen doors?
Ooh maybe I'm the first one see video .
Link to music, please.
Now that's a Boat!
Why only one like ?. Where is people?
Because you were first!
I'm guessing it's going to be weeks before launch and SpaceX doesn't want to keep the ships stacked idle for that long.
i think they have tests and have to add the safety systems.
👍👍👍🇮🇳
Why aerial photos against the sun
We'll turn of the sun next time!
@@waiplusI think they mean the camera facing the sun, rather than the sun behind the camera. At a different time of day or other direction.
