@@petercanterino7638 that 28 FLAT resist is worthless compared to the 5 PERCENT stun block. If someone hit Blaze for 2,178 damage, that flat resist would've made it do 2,150. Minuscule difference. Meanwhile having some stun block % is always helpful.

You can get more damage and still have max critical.... instead of using the wysteria wand, you can use the harrowing nightmare wand that gives 223critical or something like that, then you can have a pet that has all damage on it and has a 65 more strength jewel on it.. with this setup you will have more then 160 damage and still stay on 100% critical
You're completely wrong. You lose 19 damage by switching to the nightmare wand. Max damage on a pet is 32. So you gain 10 damage by switching the pet. 100% critical on both sets but yours loses 9 damage.
@@nynonyr2939 Because in PvP critical is no longer x2 percent and all the sets for 130 don't give any block at all. If you want block you still have to resort to using 100-110 ish gear which have their other stats significantly downgraded for most schools.

Even jade, the gear infamous for being defensive (and even gives a lot of crit block) will probably give you no more then 30% with the full set.

sadly i really don't have the motivation to get my wiz up to 130 cause it is so much more difficult to craft the new gear than before and the increases are so minor, still at 125 with like 150 damage and 95% crit i think on storm, not completely sure. Maybe if there was some kind of new darkmoor out i'd play but there hasn't been any major dungeon since, like a waterworks, mount olympus, whatever the level 90 dungeon was called, even atlantea and zigazag.
Man I miss the day when you need a balanced stats to be good. Now of day you need critical and damage. Blocking/resist was one of the best stats to have back in the day 😕
Nothing better than getting back to the game after 6 years and seeing the "Team Up" button on every dungeon. I would have never beaten Zafaria's final dungeon yesterday without it
Attention: the 130 professor's storm wand also give 19% dmg and it gives 92 crit so you can save yourself from needing a couple 18 crit jewels to do this set
Honestly think a few damage isn’t any problem if you’re willing to buy it, get the darkmoor bundle and use that want the witch’s hunter wand, it gives like 12 or 13 damage but like 130 critical so you could save on some other areas like not getting a perfect pet get double critical and one resist would be better overall or get some Pierce
I remember farming darkmoor for ages and half the time my parents would make me get off, before chests and then I was so happy when I got the robe and completed the set :)
I had the worst time getting the boots from the Astral Forest, I finally went to the crafting guy in in Empeyrea and crafted the alphoi charger boots with same stats as the paradox boots.
There used to be definite best gears and stats but now it’s more whatever stats you prefer tbh like obviously some definite best gears but which one you use is debatable

with my storm i have 187 damage 37 resist 41 accuracy 475 critical 104(storm) 68(others) block 19 pierce I like my set up tbh has a balance with attack and defense. i built up my resist because i primarily solo. but your set gives 100% crit for double dmg all the time. is it worth the switch in my case or nah?
that 187 better be a typo, do you have max stat pet with quint damage? as well as the paradox hat boots and wand? let’s not forget Aphrodite / Storm Owl ring and Aphrodite athame as well as that Khrysalis deck

He got it from opening up Jewel Packs in the Crowns Shop. If you don't want to open up packs for the +18 critical jewels you can go to Empyrea and farm the Secret Tunnel in Aerial Jungle.

it is true because it represents 100% critical in game which means you will always critical storm spells. You can have way more than 838 critical because you can go over "max" critical.
Logan Duran 837 is the minimum needed for exactly 100% crit. Anything below is not 100%. You can have a higher number, but it does not make a difference
Literally only good for team pve. Almost no resist means you will die solo pve or any pvp. No pierce puts all that damage to waste and without block you will die to a single crit. This build is very situational and mediocre for team pve at best.

raw damage is always nice, but if you can guarantee x2 damage every hit, then that easily becomes better
