What about if direct current how do I read it, is it the same in a. C?

what if the pointer goes in between even it was fully calibrated, what value should I use? the highest or the lowest?
ex: Fully calibrated multi tester sets in 250v AC, the pointer is in between the 150 and 155. Will it be 150 or 155?
