The Askianos taverna located 15meters from the hotel, owned by the hotell has great greek food, one of the best restaurants we visited in crete. Babis on the taverna Askianos is so friendly, and have many great greek insider tips to visit in the nearby area. You can ask him anything! Really great guy that really care for the visitors. Wonderfull place located in Amoudara, only 5-10 minutes drive to Agios Nikolaos, one of the big cities in crete. You get both peace and quiet, and short distance to a big greek city. We will return next year!
