One of the very few DJ's that hasn't sold his soul just to get on the main stage at Tomorrowland. Still playing what he loves to the people that love him, big respect. Nearly all the tracks were his own, he didn't have to shout a bunch of nonsense down the microphone or throw cake at people, proper talent.

well he sold his soul when he went down the shitty edm route.. Thankfully in the last 3-5 years hes gone back to trance. I think aly and fila are better these days for pure trance than pvd.. Still he'll always be one of my fav djs. I once saw him both on a friday and a saturday for my birthday and got to meet him backstage. :)
Finally no "put your fu*kin hands up" or "Tomorrowland make some fuc*in noise" but only pure trance! Thank You Paul!

Yeah, kudos to PVD for not doing that like some other big name DJs. But still roughly half of this set has no beat going, just endless buildups. That is the Ibiza sound, though.

52 year old dad here in 2020 training my 14 year old daughter on all the tunes she needs to hear, only then will she be able to fully understand, what she will be experiencing, when she finally gets dropped into Tomorrow land and i leave her in the hands of the Masters of the craft called trance, i feel she should know how it all got going, lol. and its not just her generation that makes the best music, as she would have me believe.she will never understand what i would have given to have a cataloger of free music and HD video streamed to me at any moment in time, day and night, i think every tune ever made in some form, is in u tube, its the stuff dreams are made of,when i heard her say im bored, i have listen to all the music on you tube, ive had to step in and guide her towards the cream of the cream of music and lights that is tomorrow land, its a dads duty i think lol

One of the few DJs who still plays and produces ACTUAL good sounding trance....the best! I've seen him a few times thru the years here in Canada and he never disappoints!
Like I know he existed, but never was interested, don't know why...I keep (re) discovering new artists and they just keep getting better, putting the ones I already know to shame....I thought it was impossible to entertain a crowd with pure trance in 2019/20....This *L E G E N D* showed me different....Intense,insane...If PvD can do it why can't AvB?...This just puts him and his current sets in shame... I don't know what it is but the last few recently live sets from PVD just reminds me of the old him. He has really stepped his game back up this year. The old style never gets old. This makes me excited to go see him again. Pure PVD is back.
