I really wanted the Polish team to win, but unfortunately, no one in Weigel's team could play well except Fornal. The middle players were blocked a lot. The party was very bad. In Trentino Sbertoli played the team very well, 2 Italians Michelletto and Lavia played perfectly. Podrascanin also played Legend today. congratulations Trentino

It's not impossible. Of course, everyone must be healthy, Micheletto/Lavia will be eliminated and the season will be over. Italy is not a team that everyone is afraid of, they lost to Germany and Brazil with their full squad. The best 5 receivers at the moment (random order): Leon, Śliwka, Micheletto, Semeniuk and Yuki Ishikawa. Leon and Śliwka higher, the rest maybe not.
After three months Trentino finally played with the team that had dominated the Super League in Italy.
Ps take away from Jastrzebski Toniutti for three months and Fornal in the decisive matches...

people maybe don't realise but the main reason Trento lost to Milano in the fight for the 3rd place is because they didn't have any motivation to fight for the 3rd place at all. While against Monza maybe Sbertoli could have changed the things if he had more time to practice with the team and recover properly. Now finally they were all together along with Lavia and Sbertoli and they played on their actual level which is over the top! Definitely not a surprise! They were totally unbeateble this time.

Great victory for Trentino but it's a shame they will not play in the Champions League next year (because they finished in 4th place in Superlega). You should change the rules and allow additional spots like football competitions (the winner of Europa League goes to Champions League next year even if they reach 5th place in the domestic league...)

It is a beautiful victory and, above all, very constructive: the Polish discourse no longer has arguments in favor of the superiority of Polish volleyball. Now, everyone can peacefully accept that in sports, nothing is certain from one season to another, from one competition to another. The element of surprise is basically the reason why we watch competitions with interest and follow the results with emotion. Wouldn't it be boring to know in advance that the Poles will win? Or the Italians?

They were able to turn difficult balls, set from 7th meter, after a horrible reception, to direct points.

@@paolocantoni7065 to counter that, you can call Polish plusliga one big chronic injury. When there are 16 teams (vs. 12 in Italian superliga), those guys essentially have been playing a match every 3-4 days, when taking into consideration plusliga + European cups.
Look what happened to Zaksa - it was all chronic fatigue + bad luck (Śliwka's broken finger), then Kaczmarek's & Bednorz's viral infection a week before CL QF.
Compare that to ~1 match a week in Perugia (that's because Perugia was out of European cups) - Semeniuk's words.
Not trying to discredit Trentino, who were brilliant.

Trentino has more talent in oh position (michieletto/lavia are better Fornal/Symura) and the middle centers of Jas today were no efficient (for me libero/setter of jas are incredible).... if you add two factors you have this result but Jas remains a great team that deserves the final

Credo che davvero i due laterali di Trento siano qualcosa di top, molto validi a livello mondiale....e spero che li ritroveremo così incisivi con la nazionale, a breve...e credo anche che Trento meriti questo risultato, troppe volte perso contro il" nemico" storico (cui vanno i miei complimenti, perché favoloso)..grande Trento😍

@@fabioarcuti Bo tego zespołu już nie ma. Śliwka wybrał Japonię, Kaczmarek przeszedł do Jastrzębskiego, Bednorz do Rzeszowa, nie wiadomo co zrobi Eric Shoji czyli podstawowy libero ZAKSY. Przychodzi z Japonii Bartosz Kurek, przyjdą inni zawodnicy, ale tamtej ZAKSY, która stała się legendą już nie ma. Bardzo dziękuję za pytanie i przepraszam, że czekałeś na moją odpowiedź.

io per Milano aspetterei a parlare, Gardini è un signor schiacciatore, quest’anno è stato il migliore tra gli italiani dopo Michieletto e Lavia nella regular season. Anche Louati è un top, in due forse riusciranno a non far rimpiangere Ishikawa anche se la vedo dura visto che quest’anno è stato forse il migliore al mondo dopo Michieletto, Fornal e le bande di Perugia. Il più grande problema secondo me è stato sostituire Loser, il centrale più forte del campionato, con Caneschi però si vedrà. Monza dai nomi che sto leggendo sembra una squadra ridicola purtroppo

The quality is definitly not terrible, Jastrzebie just played poorly for their standarts. And you can't really compare the Trentino that got 4th place and this one

Polish, italian , russian volley men league are more or less the same level..... polish is the most organized, italian and russian are the most rich .... at the end all are beautiful championship and deserves credit
Trentino was beaten by the Monza which was beaten by Projekt Warszawa which was beaten by Jastrzębski Węgiel. Also Projekt won Challenge Cup (Beating Monza 3:1, 3:1, 6:0 overall) and CEV Cup won by Asseco Resovia. So Poles get about 2 of 3 European Cups not to mention that they hit the final in the Champions League and finished Tournament 2nd. Not to mention JW will have a chance to fight for trophy next year and Trento will not... That final was incredibile performance by Trento and tragiczny występ by JW. Anyway Trento was better that day and I think that everybody underestimated them before The Final. Congrats from Projekt Warszawa Fan!
