My favorite absolute which is also my favorite story in comics is Crisis on Infinite Earths. I was fortunate to get it signed by both Marv Wolfman and George Perez.
I also adore Kingdom Come (which I have signed by Mark Waid, and I hope one day Alex Ross), New Frontier (which I have signed by Darwyn Cooke), and JLA/Avengers (yes, that is 100% an absolute). I also agree that Long Halloween, Dark Victory, and Haunted Knight are all phenomenal.
Being a big GL fan, I of course love Rebirth, Sinestro Corps War, and Blackest Night.
I have so many absolutes that I own and love beyond those mentioned above. I agree it is the best way to own a story.

My heart breaks that I’ll never get the chance to meet some of my heroes who passed to soon.
I actually just purchased blackest night! So I’ll just be missing rebirth. I think I’m missing 18 absolutes in total!

Solid list! Not many of those books I've read and I hope to fix that in the next year or so.
I tried so hard to enjoy the day tripper digitally and it just didn't get me there, but I feel like I could enjoy it in print.

Great video! I have been debating between getting the new frontier absolute or deluxe edition
I don’t know when the absolute is going back into print but if you can wait, wait for the absolute. Or get the deluxe and sell it when the absolute comes back!

I’ve been waiting on Absolute Crisis and Absolute Justice ever since I began collecting these editions years ago. Now one is being reprinted! Hopefully the next one is up!

Solid list.. I dont have absolute... but I think if JLA Avengers get one I might have to grab it. At some point need to get a new frontier, that has so much love.
They came out with a deluxe recently that’s worth picking up!

I own four absolute edition of DC comics:
1. Absolute Batman: The Court of Owls;
2. Absolute Superman/Batman Vol. 1;
3. Absolute The Dark Knight;
4. Absolute DC: The New Frontier.
I'm glad that you also own the Absolute The Dark Knight. The book Collects Batman: The Dark Knight Returns (a great story) and Batman: The Dark Knight Strikes Again (not so great, and please let's not talk about the terrible art). When I started reading the second part of book, it was "digestible" for me.
But I have a feeling, from you, that there are comics written by Frank Miller that are much worse than The Dark Knight Strikes Again...just saying and no hurts feelings!

7/10 but I do have the older versions of Planetary and New Frontier. I am missing Day Tripper, JLA Avengers and Long Halloween. Though I do have standard hardcovers of long Halloween, Dark Victory and When in Rome.

I have the newest printing (third?) of the Dark Knight Returns on pre-order. Just missed out the last time.

Funny, I actually ordered DKIII around the time the pre-order for this reprint was announced.
As an aside, Hamilton Book had Absolute Boy Wonder for $37 a few days ago, but now it is "backordered" -- so no idea if it will get restocked.

As much as I was going to give you crap for not putting Kingdom Come at number 1 as it's my absolute (see what I did there?) favorite comic ever, I can't be mad at this list. And no Tom King, thank the gawds! Lol. Great list all jokes aside.
