I'm generally new to AE, and I needed this. I've been losing my mind with file management, and equally so with all the clicking to get to a layer's stroke properties.

Yeah, man these tips are AWESOME! Although I did get a little confused with duration between keyframes. Turns out you have to alt-click on *each* keyframe. I was thinking you only had to do it for the second keyframe. But I figured it out!

@@BrentMetcalf1 Thanks! That one did come across a little confusing, thanks for clarifying! Glad you figured it out 💪

Thanks for these cool tips! I found a few really useful!
Another really helpful tip I WISH I knew 5 years ago is when you want to replace a layer in a comp with another one:
    1. click on the layer in the comp you want to replace
    2. Alt+click and drag the layer over the selected layer and drop it
    3. This replaces the layer and retains all the keyframes.
    I hope this makes sense

8:10 layer snapping does not make that click sound 😑😑 that your are shown

@@ChrisZachary0 it’s not working at all. In fact, every time I hit return (hovered over the same space) a different color appears 🥲
