Producing more fruit - maximising pollination in avocado orchards

A tasty fruit begins with pollination of a flower. In Aotearoa New Zealand, only 0.3% of avocado flowers develop into fruit, so understanding which insects are pollinating these and then finding ways to improve the rate of pollination could make a huge difference in the size of each harvest.
