All they did was reuse the same shot audio, so I imagine it wasn't very difficult for them to do so. Less of them doing something perfectly, and more just them making sure there's continuity within the scene.
2:51 They corrected the error in the original version where the chair where Meg sits appeared behind Meg, but they made other mistakes by forgetting to draw the small vase on the table, the sink, and the orange bottle near the window, although ironically the bottle does appear in close shots, but disappears again in distant shots.

my main issue is that the stewie in the original should have seen future stewie save brian but for whatever reason the past stewie doesn't see any of it and future stewie ends up saying what past stewie should have said. that probably doesn't make any sense at all but uh :P
Normally those time travel or repetitive scene types of episodes you see them Once in the Whole series except if it’s a clip show but here You saw them maybe 20 times 😂😂
the one thing i can appreciate about "back to the pilot" is that they timed everything nearly perfectly so that the scenes the revisited still ran at the correct times and stuff.

I don't know how many times I've seen the pilot episode of Family Guy, but I guess not enough times to notice that Meg was sitting behind her chair. How could I have missed that obvious animation mistake?
Uploaded more than a month before Tony Sirico, the voice of Vinny, passed away. I'm fandubbing him for the tenth anniversary edition of "Christmas Guy", which gets uploaded to my Google Drive this Friday.
Wait, wasn't there another scene in the Cutaway land where Meg kills Hitler from the cutaway gag in the first episode? You could also throw in a bonus scene where they redid the Stewie "Ma!" scene but Stewie telling Lois to get the COVID vaccine.
For Brian getting ran over wouldn’t the past stewie see the future stewie therefore causing great confusion and mess up the space time continuum. You know the one thing stewie says every single time travel episode.
As bad as family guy can be, I do appreciate the effort of actually using Meg’s original voice actress in the remake episode

For a TV show where consistency is non-existent, they've done pretty well the time consistency.
It's easy when you recycle the same jokes. You just have to rewatch the old ones and do it almost exactly the same.
it's incredible attention to detail that Back to the Pilot has the same amount of time between cutaways as the actual pilot
