This tune is weirdly amazing. I’m not gay and am a musician from the Metal and IDM world and this still pushes all the buttons. It’s perfect. The harmonic minor general vibe, mix/production, vocals have SO much space and the kick/bass balance is 👌🏼. I’m trying to pick any holes in it and I can’t 🤷♂️.

She’s been busy working on her new album, busy celebrating her 55th birthday, travelling a lot (partied in Monaco for her birthday) and despite being in the business for decades, having an instantly iconic song with worldwide success must be a mixture of exhilaration and exhaustion. She is doing amazing and she even says herself in the interview that she’s tired. Could also be a time difference between where she is and where the radio station is too.

It's really difficult to watch her interviews now, bless her. She used to be so articulate and chatty, but now she pauses, stutters, trips over herself and basically says absolutely nothing.
I find the same . She used to be amazing at interviews and sharp fast funny answers but now I even find myself bored when she talks . Wonder why that is???
She's been that way since I can remember. The reason it stood out to me is because she's similar to me in that way. I'm an anxious but creative guy who is always chasing words when I speak. On a good day, when I nail my sentences, I can sound quite intelligent, but on an off day a very ineffective speaker. Perhaps that is how it is with Kylie to an extent?
It's also because she is making sure at ALL TIMES she says the right things. And doesn't give much away about how things come about. It's thinking at all times.."what can i reveal.. What do i NOT say".. i totally get it
In her early years, this was most noticeable in any U.K. interviews - she was always distant in some way, careful with her words and ended up saying nothing - if you CZcams other interviews at the similar time, late 80’s/early 90’s, say - in Australia, it’s like a totally different person - assured, confident etc. I know she took a battering from the U.K. media for so many years in those early days, maybe she was just daunted by it. I agree though, at this stage in her life her interviews aren’t worth watching because she just says nothing at all and you just don’t feel you’re hearing from ‘Kylie’.
