Pelvis - Pelvic Ring Instability - Large External Fixator- Stabilization of the Pelvic Ring

Injuries to the pelvic ring can be life-threatening and require immediate stabilization. In this video, the techniques for stabilizing the pelvic ring with the external fixator is demonstrated.
Learning Objectives:
* List the clinical indications for external fixation of the pelvic ring.
* Apply the technique for the insertion of Schanz screws in the supra-acetabular region and the iliac crest and the construction of the anterior pelvic external fixator.
