The way she’s floating seamlessly in this warm airy falsetto the entire song is so angelic. her choices are unmatched. She has a way of finessing herself inside the production. She’s not just adlibbing all over the place. She is placing herself strategically in pockets to create beautiful moments yet it sounds effortless. Brandy tricks you because her tone is so warm and inviting that she’s makes you want to sing along. She makes it sound easy but when you try to do what she’s doing you immediately realize how intricate her movements actually are! She is an assassin with this music man. I love Brandy forever. Mary J, Toni are pure R&B and they both have had major chart success. R&B may not be as successful today, yes. However back in the 90's it definitely was.
