To be honest, what oakley was doing off camera is actually a good idea to make the teams more random. maybe both players first pick can either be a cup or a team of their choice and for other 2 picks, you open a couple of packs each and whatever is the face card for each pack, you either pick that face card's nation, club or league. good way to get a bunch of pack openings in the vid too!
You should search the name and the club rather than just the name

It's a bit dumb that Luke is taking his time picking and choosing his clubs/league/nations after thinking of ones that he knows when he literally plays it multiple times each week. It gives him such a ridiculous advantage. It should be random.
Sergio Oliviera for Roma-Portugal. You probably don't remember it cause he played there very briefly.
A danish youtuber sort of does the same thing, but he gets someone else to do the grit beforehand so that they know there will be players for every square. Maybe something like that would work better.

Bit of a rule change to spice it up! Pre pick 3 selections to avoid you picking counter teams you know that match up with what your opponent has said. Then once pick 3 players who are blocked and if your opponent chooses that player for a select square you then get that square as your own! Thoughts??

Oakelfish He signed for them but never played, and in a previous episode I asked for a certain player if it counts if they'd only ever played friendlies and he'd said probably not. I only bothered to search it up because I thought I remembered something about him signing for Inter and then literally signing for another club the next day, but it was only returning from loan to Inter (so still didn't play but not quite as extreme)
