It's the Mini U for sure. I got one of those when they were $28.00 and well worth it. I had to paint the enclosure as that baby blue was just horrible, now its called "The Spirit Box."
Its a mini universe..
My question is did they fix the pop that M-VAVE has when engaging the switch, as well as the high pitched whine.

Same as m-vave mini universe. Different distributor. That is it. Not bad, but too fragile
@@JimVincent That hiss can be helped by placing the pedal on its own power supply separate from everything else. It helped a ton!

@@jmiguel.l920 it is very cool. be aware that it has an audible pop sound when turning on. we fixed that with a bit of soldering. this effect and the mini universe are the same chip.

Anyone actually got one of these? Is it basically the M-Vave in a different jacket? That swell setting sounds, uh, rather swell.
@@gareth6233 yes we got both to test them out and these are definetly the same chips.
@@spacehoneyrecords420 Thanks for the response. Did you test them into/out of other pedals in a signal chain? I’d like to use that swell setting for some ambient guitar stuff but the pedal has a notoriously unpleasant click-on noise when engaging the stomp button. Do either/both still have that issue?
@@gareth6233 hey gareth, we did use them with lots of different pedals and they both have this very harsh click noise in all settings and setups. we did however found a solution and with just 1€ of electrical parts and some soldering, we got the pedals to be ‚click-less‘. search for ‚m-wave miniuniverse pop fixed‘ on youtube to find the instructions we used.
