40:40 Basic steps of the sales. Going out and finding clients, Fact Finding, Making a presentation of your business/product, Listening to what your customer have to say about your product, Identifying and qualifying an opportunity, Making a recommendation and structuring a proposal, and most importantly.... asking for an order at every step along the way... ALWAYS BE CLOSING..
ok, that is the book definition...the key to ANY sale is "how does this make the prospect money"? If you have no pitch, you have no future in sales or business
@@andrefecteau think of it as a pickup !
You have the desire, the objective and now all depends on how successful is your pitch.
@@firstlast1357 oh I'm well familiar with the process, but good analogy
@@SanSha2100 sure, having no pitch is like when the window replacement salesman come by my house...they just say something stupid like "we do windows"? No pitch, like "if you upgrade your windows it will save you energy, reduce noise and add value to your house"...ok, now you are talking, giving a "pitch"...a value proposition
Zig Ziglar is one of the best "pitch men" to ever live...check his stuff out if you are in sales
@@andrefecteau the guy - do you like music, I have a great stereo, and whiskey, let’s go to my place, we’ll have some fun …
The girl … today I’m busy, maybe next week …
Absolutely brilliant. Hard working fast thinker (hockey player). Thank you Lara.
Lara made all the right noises. She was great at hiring motivated, experienced and best salespeople in the town. She is equally great at compensating them for their achievements and go-getter attitude. Your sales people are both.... your great resource for achieving the profit target as well as your important stakeholder to ensure your continued existence in the marketplace. They are also great communicator of your Brand Value (along with your products or service, as the case may be.
I needed to hear this 17 years ago. But, better late than never. 👏🏾
sometimes its the little less eminent speakers who provide the biggest gems in these talks...
Thank the person who shared this video, quite helpful. Much more practical than other speeches, i am watching the second time.
Thank you for being an example Lara, determination will always pay off if you know how to sell and serve your clients.
Key tip:1. Story telling.2 how to sales talk till your customer's mouth watering to buy.3 Top sales can close sale at one time.4.Sales talk is money so time is value.
Great presentation and powerful message, Lara. Also just bought Nicola's book! Thank you!
Fantastic. Inspirational. Thank you, Lara.

19:03 the don't refull the cars anymore that's the real reason
Hire on character. It's the foundation of a person.
Salesmanship never die. Some believe it's a born to be. Joe Gerald is an exampler in this case he can close sale 3 in 5 of his prospects, constant 1000 cars annually target sale, with his motto Beneath the sun there's nothing I can't do. With his 10000 name cards / month 300 cards/day and 12 working hr a day after day off and continue sale planing at home. I'm a captain of the ship.
Amazing story and I’m only 1 minute in
Show me how to sell a penn..
UPenn
as a former sales rep...yes, we want to be paid based on our performance at an agreed value..and leave us the fuk alone if we are making quota...how hard is that to understand? but noooo, you have to brow beat the best and they leave..and adios to your business
Can you sell a fridge to an Eskimo?
I wonder if her consumers had a choice in regard to where and how they receive their services; and determining what services should be provided as well.
And above all, I would like to know, who was in charge of collecting past due bills. Perhaps those selling skills would have been an Achilles heel.
Why do people say "UM", "uhm" a lot? Is it just a habit or is it a loss for words? Just wondering..I noticed she says it alot.
Why YOU HERE
Yovany A well..if you were put in front of a room full of people expected to tell a story about your background.. at some point you might say the same and understand
It helps find the words, we all have our ways to find our words and think of the fly and speak publicly. Some of us are on the spectrum so don’t be so myopic and only think your way is the only way to communicate. Consider being open minded for once and try to focus on what the message is without complaining to strangers online.
it's a habit and a lack of experience..Obummer said it alot...of course he was just stupid, like his copart Joe Zombie
@@feralmode get a life, you are a racist, have to "label" everyone

Actually I m an Indian English educator.
you can see the angst on her face...not worth it...what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?
Otherwise good dissertation on start ups and the pita it encounters...do what you love folks...that is key
