J.T.'S solo career is different than his boy group days as is often the case when people go solo.
The woman is Chris Stapleton's wife, Morgane. She does a ton of harmony parts with him on his albums and live.

The lady is Morgane and it's Chris' wife, who does a lot of harmonies for him in his music. If you love this performance with him and Justin, you should check out their other song together called "Say something" it's fantastic as well. Took them one take to do the song video. Justin is very talented. He was born and raised in Memphis and has a lot of soul. I don't listen to a lot of his music now a days, because in my opinion he's gotten raunchy with his music, but when he was in Nsync (as a teen) I used to listen to everything and him and JC were the best voices of the group in my opinion.

I love the jazz band in the back. You can hear one of them say "ahh sing it!" During the Tennessee whiskey performance and you can feel the vibes through the screen. Chris and Justin are feeding off of them and vice versa. Solid performance

CMA mashes up 2 completely different genres. They each sing one of each other's song. This year it was country and pop artist. The lady is Chris's wife. She was the one to encourage Chris to sing. He's normally shy. He started out as a songwriter.

The 2nd song was Justin's and I listened to it as he recorded it, It was definitely better with Chris singing in it. I agree. The 3 of them harmonizing together was amazing.

Music is subjective. This is one of my all-time favorite live performances, from beginning to end. As I understand it, the second song is Justin's. He's a Memphis boy who grew up singing country music, but he went pop and then R&B as an adult. I really think it could be a male vs. female appeal regarding the tone of voice. These male voices appeal to me as a woman, whereas a lot of female singers don't do much for me. Sorry you didn't like it.

Ok,ok...I get your not being completely sold on Justin Timberlake on that last track...but I PROMISE this suggestion is a much better representation of the 2 of them together...its a one take,first take video that will blow you away...its called Say Something.its actually PHENOMENAL. I highly recommend watching that before making any final judgements on Justin,lol...he actually has an amazing vocal range and a great voice. I know he used to primarily sing pop...however,this is definitely NOT a pop song.please give this duo one more chance & check it out.thanks.đ¶đ„â

MRLBOYD!!! Please react to more Justin Timberlake! You probably only remember his NSYNC days but his solo albums are more R&B and Hip Hop. Let your Justin Timberlake journey start from NSYNCâs Gone. He wrote the song and pretty much sang the whole song as well. That song is full of soul in his voice!! Give him a shot, you wonât regret it!

I also never "got" Justin Timberlake and always thought he was over-rated. He does sound better singing with Chris. I don't like the second song at all. Honestly, Chris sounds much better singing on his own.
You were right, many artists, like in this case Timberlake might have some talent but they seem to be in the wrong kind of music and in this ocassion also, Tennessee Whiskey is the first song I heard him sing that I like.
