You can see in the video old mate was well too deep.
Yeah easy to say in hindsight. But in the moment I genuinely thought I was the deepest and was like “ahhhh everyone’s watching I gotta go this thing”. So I didn’t even check the inside (which I always do out of habit).
Thought I could turn it into a W lesson and remind everyone to check their inside 😂

For me the first session with a new board is always a struggle. Usually takes 3-4 sessions to really figure out if I love or hate it. My favorite board that I ride all the time now I hated at first.

The red board definitely looked better than the blue board for you. The Blue board seemed a little tooth picky and not super forgiving. Great video mate 👍

Hello Noz been wanting to get into surfing lately and i remembered i had a surfboard under my house area and got it out, cleaned it and stuff but i haven't tested it on the beach yet im not sure how to find the perfect board or if this board is for me im just a beginner so am still learning if you could give some tips i would love it:)
Also the surfboard doesn't have fins on the bottom so you know where I could get fins,wax, surfboard it would be amazing:) I live in Australia
Any board will do when you first start out. As long as it isn’t too small. You’ll gain way more knowledge from videos so I recommend you watch a channel called “Barefoot Surf”
You can get all that stuff from a local surf shop too 😄🤙🏽
