Dr Richard - Hazard Communication And Disaster Management

The aim of this module is to provide students with an understanding of effective risk and crisis communication principles and best practices for communicating during disasters and emergencies following the disaster management cycle. Students will learn about hazard and risk communication strategies, crisis management, coordination of information in disasters and finally the development of an effective hazard communication plan.
