I wish you would have shown what the red looked like underneath, because from the thumb nail we don't know it's there, so it was an added bonus to see it do it, in the beginning...
I was gonna ask, if because you know in advance that your doing 8+ coats of polish, would you skip the base coat, trying to keep down the thickness, but then you go and say, you still used the base coat....
I couldn't tell how thick they turned out, were they too thick?
In your opinion in the future, would you change anything if doing these again?
If you thought they were, too thick, would you skip the base?
Or thin down the tip 1st?
Or what would you do?
Just a few side questions of just in case - hope that makes sense... lol
In the inspo pic, to me it looked like some of those accent lines were reddish, so I thought you were gonna put on a reddish color too - must have been my phone making it look that way...
Anyway, these are just freakin beautiful, one of the best pop art nail designs I've seen... and I still cannot believe you waited until now to show them...

Val there really is something extra to every set you do, I think it’s just your talent 😮😊 but, yea I agree, who wouldn’t want a set made from nailsslayedbyval! I’ve been wanting to get my sizes in fact so that I can order all ready. So as far as nails for giveaways you bet cha! I’m always a simple person I do love the fancy frenchie though. You know the half ones with the lines etc. idk if you have ever seen them. As fas bling or crystals I like to add just enough sparkle ✨ depends on the nails I guess.

Hey Val! How do I file the nails at the end without breaking the seal! I am a newbie and I made some for my mom and took your advice but the gel ends up peeling.
Hi personally I’ve never had an issue with peeling . Just make sure you aren’t applying too thick of a top coat or more than one layer

Could you just paint the underside of the nails in Red instead of painting the topside and covering it? I assume it would be hard on a real person but not so much on the press ons? I'm not sure it would be a whole lot different but may save some time on the coverage. I assume there is a reason that you don't do it this way and curious on the reason. I LOVE THESE BTW. THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL!!
