Dr. Jack Newman is a Canadian pediatrician, a renowned breastfeeding expert, and the founder of International Breastfeeding Centre, in Toronto. Dr. Newman has traveled the world and seen how breastfeeding works in Asia, Africa, and South America. He has worked in Africa and Central America. He has been a consultant for UNICEF and the Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative, having evaluated the first baby-friendly hospitals in Canada, the Ivory Coast, and Gabon.
