im a fan of both BTS and seventeen but going seventeen has some of the most complicated concepts. run bts is usually simpler with just laughs, competitions and vibes. going svt is like mind game, strategic, power move, intelligence stock market terms lol. since they have more members they can do a lot of those concepts. also they have so many inside jokes that its a lot harder to get the lore lmao.

1:59 they were playing a game that if you get 100 on karaoke, you get to go home, unexpectedly one team succeeded first try and they were told to try again because the game would have been over too fast

unintentionally started rapping when he was startled😂
4:23 it was a try not to laugh challenge, the bit is that Jun is obsessed with sweet potatoes
4:25-4:49 same challenge, they just started doing puns to try to get laughs; They said that anything Jun does is funny now and S.Coups seeing Jun nonchalantly chomping on a potato when they were in the middle of a game did him in
5:01 they rented a studio space to play a series of games, they were looking for an envelope(?) (it’s been a while, I forget exactly) and there was a bunch of trash from previous owners, it was funny because the members kept digging through thinking it was props from the staff when it was just really trash
7:09 “My I” is a song from China Line (Jun & The8) so their coupling is usually referred to as so, they were matched up and were meant to say eachother’s names but The8 betrayed Jun by saying Wonwoo
7:20 same thing, Dk and Hoshi promised to eachother that they’d say eachother’s names but they both plotted to betray by choosing other members
7:32 you need to watch the episode 😭 The8 and Wonwoo were fake haggling with eachother
7:45 the insomnia series is soo funny, each member takes turns trying to fall asleep or keep their heart rate steady so that they can go home but the other members bring up a bunch of jokes or stories to try to disturb that targeted member
9:44 they were poking fun at Dino, saying things like he drinks and has anger issues, Dino jokingly gets mad and says they’re ruining his idol image
10:17 Seventeen’s got talent: they each chose a mock talent
-The8 is usually not so animated but he was pretending to be Jun who is a lot more goofy, and likes to eat sour/spicy stuff but never admitting if it’s too spicy, hence the peppers and jumping
- Dino was referring back to his very first Audition/his trainee days where they used to practice that particular Neyo song (it’s like a cringe memory type joke for them)
12:36 Joshua has a bit where he loves being wet or covered in water; Jeonghan threw water at him, then The8 asks if Jeaonghan is gonna throw the ramen on Josh too
16:04 Bungee jumping game:
Each member was assigned a banned word or phrase unbeknownst to them and the interviewers S.Coups and Seungkwan had to try to get them to say it. They picked on Dino by choosing “yes” so he lost right away

Let’s just say the GoSe lore is deeeeepppp, there’s a lot of stuff soundly get if you’ve watch all the Seventeen content and really kept up with them, but it’s so hilarious regardless
A lot of these are 10000% with context and i swear every time it's worth it
Loving the seventeen content recently, they're definitely the funniest kpop idols out there. You need to watch all these clips with context then they'll make sense, there are a few compilations on youtube that explain what's going on and show the funny moments, definitely try one of those next!!
So, I'm gonna try to explain the context behind the clips:
10:09 - In this gose (going seventeen) they all had their own concept or a talent which they had picked and they have to showcase it and the it is based on AGT but instead it's (SGT) Seventeen got talent.
So, Wonwoo's talent is not feeling any kind of pain, hence why DK was asking if Wonwoo doesn't feel any pain and procceded to hit him but Wonwoo did not show any reaction since he cannot feel pain.
10:15 - Hoshi's is just adding or
10:33 Jun's talent is doing musical or his concept is a musical guy, so that's why he was replying in musical way
10:47 they are laughing because this song was famous during their tarinee days and they were wondering how would Dino dance or respond to this song since Dino's concept was being a serious guy here but he sang the song in funny way ~
11:35 The8's concept is imitating Jun (like literally). And hence he imitated some of Jun's behaviours/personality
12:11 now this gose episode is based on shadows. Like whatever the first member does the rest 12 member should copy him (basically they all are a shadow of the first member)
12:52 this gose is based on haunted house. And the members gotta escape scary characters before they are caught.
12:58 there's a sticker on Dino's face cause he failed to escape from the characters and was caught by them.
13:03 this is really funny because Hoshi suggests to show a short performace to buy time to escape but he performs to their unreleased song and this episode was aired before their comeback and that's why the "300milion" like he has to pay that much as a fee/fine for spoiling the song/comeback.
13:18 The8 just hugging the character instead of being scared XD
13:24 the character had to scare The8 but he scared the character instead LMAO
15:07 this gose is based on their emotions and whatever emotion is shown they have to speak or act according to that emotion.
15:13 the emotion was surprise here and hence The8's astonishment here
15:14 the emotion before was sad but then it got changed to laugh but The8 was still showing sad face and so when Jun said it was happy emotion now The8 smilied like that
15:21 as Seungkwan showed the emotion got changed from laugh to furious and hence everyone started to respond angrily
15:52 it's really hilarious here because Dino suddenly said some sentimental words like a closing line when they still had the furious concept going on
16:00 so basically they are playing a game where they to choose a forbidden/banned word for one member and when they interview that member and he says his banned word then he loses. So for Dino the members choose "yes" as his banned word and when they asked the first question he replyed with "yes" and hence Seungkwan and Scoups hit the buzzer immediately indicating that Dino lost for using his banned word
16:35 for this you have the watch this gose cause I can't explain it with mere words
17:03 for this also you have to watch this gose episode because it's not based any kind of concept or script. It's a episode where they are themsleves.

Going 17 (GoSe) started in 2017 w/ bts content, & theres GoSe 2018, 2019, 2020 etc. The intro/outro was made GoSe 2019 ep 6&7 so thats when they started doing more challenges & activities. So you should watch from there, but there's still random funny previous episodes. Also there channel didn't have captions until GoSe 2020

ok so since you asked for context for some of them (and others i just wanted to provide context for):
1:52 so they're trapped in a karaoke room and the only way to escape is by getting a 100% score on a song, and they succeed on their second try so everyone is freaking out. b/c the episode would've been like 6 minutes long they decided it didn't count but when hoshi went up to sing again, he got another 100
3:07 they were playing copyrighted music so the editors dubbed over their voices with robots so the vid wouldn't get demonetized
4:15 jun is a chinese member and the other members are teasing him by using a korean idiom about sweet potatoes which is basically calling him dense if i remember correctly
4:44 they're doing try not to laugh and jun takes a bite of the sweet potato, showing that he finally understands the idiom from earlier
5:00 they're playing a larger scale version of mafia ( i think) and seungkwan is looking for money which is hidden at the end of each round. he keeps digging through trrash to find the money but if i remember correctly there wasn't any hidden there so he was searching through trash for nothing
6:09 they're pairing up to participate in games and one member is turned around and the members that want to be partners with that member will come sit behind them. some members leave their original members to be with another
7:42 the game here is basically the members have to say and do things that would make the member that is sleeping's heart rate increase (get them angry or embarrassed) and for hoshi, they said he should "just sleep" because he wants screen time and they know it'd piss him off if they ignored him
10:11 they're doing an americas got talent style show and they're all playing characters and have specific traits. they're all also hooked up to a machine that shocks them (i think) when they laugh so thats why you see some of them grabbing their shoulders while laughing
10:48 dino is pretending to be his 14-year-old self and singing a song he sang in an audition i think
11:36 the8 is pretending to be another member, jun (the guy that was singing opera) ,and so when the8 says that what he's eating isn't spicy, jun comes in and makes it more spicy
12:11 the person at the front is the leader and everyone behind them is the shadow, so they have to mimic the person in front of them, chaos ensues
13:03 so hoshi is known as the "king of spoilers" because he always ends up spoiling the song befoe they release it. in order to distract the monsters in the haunted house, Hoshi plays their unreleased song. their company said that if anyone spoiled the song there'd be a 300,000,000 won fine
15:07 they're doing an inside out skit ig where their emotions are dictated by whatever the member seungkwan says hes feeling. in this one they're sad and joshua just went rock climbing. he did well so dino congratulated him (while sad) and asks if there are a lot of mountains in LA because joshua is from LA
16:00 they're playing a game where they try to make a member say their forbidden word which was chosen by the group. if they say the forbidden word, they have to bungee jump. in order to sabotage dino (the youngest member and the one they tease all the time), they made his forbidden word "yes" and he immediately lost
