This video is in my opinion one of the very few that explained the camera settings in a very easy way to understand and I see a lot of them, I really appreciate your videos and the way you’re reviewing this drone.
Xavier thanks for the thorough video on camera and video settings.you have alot of options for your shots and thats good. every location you are in poses a different challenge and knowing how to adjust your camera is critical when trying to capture those special moments

File Index Mode controls file naming conventions. Under Continuous mode, files are saved according to date, then sequence, eg: 062618 1, 062618 2, etc. Reset mode will start anew with each photo/video, potentially overwriting previous files.

I tip my hat off to you X for putting in the time and effort to explain as well as demonstrate the features in each mode. Best I have seen. I like the fact that he gives explanations, but we can always go to Auto anytime and still get great footage. It's not the end of the world if we don't get a great manual shot. Thanks for this video.

Hello! I just found your channel and love what I see so far! I was just given a DJI Mavic Air Red from a friend and have flown it a couple times. I want to learn more about it and heard that you have some videos on that model. I looked through your offerings and can't seem to find any. Great video, thanks! Not sure if this has been answered for you yet but file index mode keeps the count of the pic/vid in memory and indexes it up 1 every time you take a shot regardless if you’ve taken all of the previous shots off of the SD card or not. If you don’t have it set to continuous it will go back to 001 or whatever if you insert a new SD card or pull the data off of an existing one and reinsert it.

Great video! Since I am no pro at photography, I thought I would share my understanding of RAW v JPEG with others who might be thinking it is beyond their capability. With JPEG, certain information that was or could be in your shot is eliminated automatically and gone forever. When you shoot in RAW, every bit of information picked up by the camera is there at your disposal to tinker with in some kind of editing software. You just have more options available to play with than with JPEG.

When your on the EXP screen actually move the joystick and you will see how making the changes impacts the joystick.. the dot will move and follow the line and you will see / feel how much movement you have to do in order for dot to start moving.. super handy to see it while you test the movements.. also helps you see which of the 3 is adjusting what for sure..

Is there a way to save camera settings? I want to take some sunset bracketed shots for HDR and the window is short for the best sunset. This means I have to use up battery life doing the settings ahead of time rather than just linking up and flying. Is there some means of saving the setttings so I don't have to use battery time doing it?
