4/6/24. Major Motion takes 3rd and 5th in the women’s 3-5 field. The 3-man break was made up of 2 masters 35+ women and one cat 3. Congrats to all podium winners! 🎉 p.s. the women who crashed are alright 💕

There was a car on the course and traffic control yelled “stop” and put their hands out as we approached that corner. The rider grabbed her brakes really hard and lost control of her bike. Her rear wheel fishtailed. It was poorly handled by the traffic control/organizers imo.

@@Rosecity_jules oh shoot! That makes way more sense. There was one exactly in that corner in the cat 4-5 field as well. I got caught right behind it and got lucky I didn’t crash. Literally same as you.
As far as the organizers. I do agree they could’ve done better.

@@Rosecity_jules Actually the rider in front of 611 grabbed brakes and 611's front wheel contacted the rear wheel of that rider. Agree that traffic control could/should have handled that better.
