Nethy Bridge - Loch Garten Loop

This 10.7 mile circular route is a mix of quiet road and off road cycling along the Speyside Way, with some more technical parts that require some off road experience. The route is suitable for gravel bikes, hybrid and mountain bikes.
Starting in Nethy Bridge take the B970 to Boat of Garten, turning first left towards Loch Garten. Take the first right to pick up the Speyside Way heading into Abernethy Forest which you will be following until you reach the Loch Garten road.
Turn left to Loch Garten, following the track running alongside the road. When you reach the RSPB car park, turn right down to the road and continue.
Take first right to Tulloch Moor, then bear left at Aundaroch and then right, signposted Boxwood, Juniper Brae and Bennachie (to name a few). Take the first track left, over the bridge and past the red roofed house on right and then turn right before the large blue roofed house.
Follow the grass track through the gate and into the woods and then cross the ford before turning right onto the forest track.
After approx 5 mins, take the first left and then follow the track all the way to Dell Lodge and back to Nethy Bridge.
