Gosha Rubchinskiy 2018 Spring/Summer Collection

- After breaking the news of a collaborative set with Burberry in January 2018, Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy showcased his full 2018 Spring collection at a show in St. Petersburg over the weekend. Highlights of the collection include his collaboration with adidas Football for a few pieces of athletic wear, including glossy football shorts and an all-red tracksuit.
Rubchinskiy also gave us a closer look at his new line of headwear in collaboration with Stephen Jones, which features plaid paired with a few different styles and colors. Rubchinskiy ended the show with a closer look at some of the trench coats he worked with Burberry on, with the first in tan, the second in navy blue and the third combining the two colors for a two-toned look down the middle. Rubchinskiy told viewers at his show that the collection was inspired by his passion for sports and nightlife culture, hoping he can use the two to make a bridge to connect more people. i love how 99% of the people hating this fashion show don't know the difference between the pieces showed off at a fashion show and the pieces actually releasing at retailers. i mean look at YSL and Gucci Fashion Shows. В начале 90-х годов Московские стихийные рынки у стадиона Лужники и в Черкизово были переполнены китайскими, корейскими и индийскими подделками на все в то время существовавшие бренды одежды. Иными словами, купить оригинальную вещь в Москве 90-х, кроме как в М-21 (или как он там назывался), возможности не было. Все ходили в подделках. Помните бейсболки летние с орлом и надписью USA? Вот, всё это делали на подпольных заводах. В нулевые жить стало веселее и в целом такие стихийные берехолки ушли в серую зону интернета на всякие Алибаба и Али Эксперссы. Рубчинский и самое главное Гваласия эту тему всяз за основу своего творчества и они настоящие гении. Все мы хотим, хоть ненадолго, побывать в своём прошлом. Во времена, когда мы были юные. Времена, когда мы были красивые и могли себе позволить выпить бутылки "березки" из горла. Сексуальность всегда продается. А что ещё более сексуальное, как наша юность. Так что, мы смело можем покупать эти вещи. Мы уже заработали на них. Футболки за 6 рублей и худи за 13. Эта одежда комплимент всем нам - поколению, родившимся в 80-х. Прекрасные были времена, в которые прошло наше детство 90-х годов.

I really liked most of the collection, especially a couple of the tees and jackets. I hope some of the footwear is collaborative too. I really didn't like the plaid overalls, and I hope the tees come in sizes below 10XL.

So... are these models short or are they just really young?
Seems slightly unoriginal. I love the more progressive pieces. But It just looks like a 2017 show out of 80's. Most of the styles and lines have already existed. It's slightly an artistic cop out as far as creating actual looks that are original and never seen before. I do however like some of the more controversial pairings. Other than that, it's unoriginal.
