Absolutely live your videos. I honestly watch them religiously.
I’m a vet nurse and wanted to point out that wearing wet things in summer actually makes dogs warmer as it acts kind of like a wet suit. I just wanted to add this as I don’t want others putting their dogs in further danger if their dog over heats. The best thing you can do for an overheating dog is take them to the shade and have cool running water on them from like a hose or something similar ☺️ I hope this helps at least one person

We have that green west paw feeder it’s great for our little corgi. We call it her toppl. We freeze organic chicken broth and crushed liver treats in it for her and she lovveesss it!

Hi! I saw in your 7 month video the blanket rolling enrichment which i also do with my pup! To make it harder you can roll it diagonally then tie it it kind of looks like a pretzel lol, it makes it so much harder for them! Hope this is helpful! :)

The dog tags and collars are so cute but here's a tip: for the dog tags don't put the dogs name, maybe just an initial, and then all of your information. This is so no one can find out your dog's name and call them as if it were theirs. No hate just a tip!

OMG Freya is the cutest little pup. I decided that it was time for me to have a doggo of my own and I have always been in love with Aussies, my Mini Australian Shepard will be in my arms come April. Did you have a set schedule for Freya right when you came home? Are there any products that you didn't list in your Amazon that were lifesavers? I am a college student so anything that will keep the little one busy for a few hours while I am in class would be amazing!
yes we did!!! I talk about her schedule in her 3 month pupdate! I would watch that video. and as far as anything that we bought her, it's either in this video or her what I bought for our 8 week puppy before bringing her home video. that literally encompasses EVERYTHING we bought her!! and basically everything we bought her was useful for SURE! any brain games, slow feeders, snuffle mats, puzzles, interactive toys, etc. to keep them busy would be AWESOME! ❤️

I can’t wait to get my own dog. My first dog will most likely be a German Shepherd (Sable) once I get out of high school, like probably my junior year of college? Marissa when do you think is a good time to get a first dog? Technically I have two dogs but they are my parents not mine lol
In my personal opinion, I think the "right" time to get one is when you have the time to dedicate to one. training one, taking care of one, paying for one, giving it everything it needs in life to be happy, exercise one, etc. Our timeline was perfect because I was working from home so I could dedicate all the time to her. But also I wouldn't recommend getting a dog in college because you're usually too busy to let it potty often, etc. and to just properly care for one. Not to say you CANT but everyone I know who had a dog in college kinda regretted it because they couldn't live their "college lives" and a booked class schedule meant their dog was in a crate for 8+ hours which isn't fun for the dog :/

Love that green outdoor collar. We are getting our little aussie pup in 8 weeks (she was born on the 24th). Did you get multiple sizes? If so - what size would you recommend? Also - as a puppy did you just use a harness rather than a collar? Thanks for the tips.
For puppy puppies I would maybe get an XS or S. Freya got into a size medium around 4 months old or so! We did use a harness too when she was itty bitty!

can i ask how long it took to potty train freya? dakota (my mini) is 4 months now and still having accidents in her crate when we leave her for more than an hour.
Freya took about a month for us to feel comfortable with not watching her EVERY step in the house hahaha. I plan on making a video on how I potty trained Freya soon so hopefully that will be helpful! ❤️
@@MyDriftingDesk ah you're lucky lol, my pup thinks EVERYTHING is a toy. this includes but is not limited to blankets, shoes, and towels. she steals them and then runs away and hides in her playpen, so i cant trust her lol. we are getting more comfortable to let her play outside of her playpen, but she tries to leave the room because we dont have any baby gates, just the playpen.
Use the clip on the cute treat patch to hook to your strap and you can use it as a cross body…?

how did you find the breed for you?
looking into the lifestyle you have/want to have, the amount of time you have to dedicate to a dog, costs to maintain the dog, grooming schedules, health issues, etc. you want to look into all of that and then narrow down dog breeds that fit your criteria.
