Hi Darlene from Ontario! Oh boy, this heat wave is too much. Right now it has cooled down some so I'll walk the dog. Gosh, very exciting news from you....over 2000 subscribers AND fibre op! Wowzers! As of Canada Day, I will be on a week vacation so my plan is to not at all have a schedule! I will definitely have a stitching project on the go & I'm thinking of starting a new quilt. That's vacation !!!!

We won’t be doing to much as far as activities because we have a project list we want to try and tackle, but we are lucky enough to live between the city of Lethbridge and the town of Raymond in Alberta and we can see the fireworks from our deck in both locations so we will watch those for sure.

Darlene - I would be happy with any one of your project bags. For Canada Day, I also take it low key since I don't have a family of my own. I invite a friend who is alone if there is one and we spend time together righting the wrongs of the world 😆 You know how that goes!!! Otherwise, I treat myself to a day of rest with stitching and reading a book and good listening music. Congrats on your 2000 subscribers.

Thanks Sheila! I remember one particular Canada Day when my kids were quite small, we drove down to the islands to beat the excessive heat here and spent the day exploring the beaches there. I just watched on The Stitching Owl last night about a Canada Swap, have you seen the info for that?

Yay! Fibre op! And told hubby and he did you tube and was omg how did she ever do flosstube! And congrats on all the subscribers. Must ask ann a gain when you are coming to group. I did ask and forget lol How cool for your daughter that is exciting for sure! Oh my Canada day bouquet is great! Holly and hobbies? I have never heard of her. I am still working on totem,my full coverage since feb1 lol someday will be done. Have a new grandbaby stocking to start soon, waiting to hear gender, should be soon. Yes comfort stitcher or stitching and man she changed a lot and her first project! Your project bags aRe beautiful and hmm Canada Day like you probably nothing much. Daughter is in CB and we just got back, and she will come in August. Maybe son and his family will come. August, okay I will check the date! Where did you find the patterns for the carol emmer Santa’s? I’ve been trying to find them and from what I understand I can get a dvd from just cross stitch , but my computer doesn’t have a dvd slot . I thought I would ask if you got it somewhere else. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
