Number 1 tip: Never give advance to carpenter or contractor.
Once you give money their attitude changes as they know that you agree to their demands due to fear of loosing the advance money. No matter what the reason they give, disease in family or death. Don't give advance and expect them to be nice and thankful.
Don't give money to purchase material also. You purchase material yourself and get work done inside your home.
Factory pressing is another big scam, get pressing done in home only.
Only pay money after complete work is done or give money in stages after the work.
Always remember work should be more than money paid for stages.
Keep bulk of amount for final settlement if you want control and dignity.
If carpenter or contractor does not agree then look for other needy contractor or carpenter. There are thousands of needy and skilled carpenters available.
I personal suffered a lot by giving advance to a greedy carpenter and I don't want anyone to go through the pain I went
हमारे यहां कारपेंटर तो लूटने में लगे हैं स्क्वायर फीट निकालने में गहराई भी ऐड करते है जिससे रेट 250 का 500 हो जाता है ग्रेनाइट वाला भी 50rs sqft लेता है और मोल्डिंग का 70rs
nice video .but in delhi labour rate is 250-300sqft and granite starts from 80sqft, tile rate is 20sqft, material u can all buy in wholesale from chawri bazar.. to total rate 1.5lakh k aas paas baithega

Please give contact of a carpenter who does the good kitchen work. DDA flat kitchen. Honest n sincere person. Here they add L×W×D. They cheat .
Sir bahut jada rate mai taiyar ki hai ye kitchen apne 60rs sqft mai bahut acha granite patthar mil jata hai or uski labour charges 35rs sqft or sir tiles ko lagane ka rate 15-20 maximum or carpenter ka rate 250rs sqft chal raha hai or rahi baat sink ki to 2500/- rs mai bahut acha sink mil jata hai.
