If you win a tournament with teros and then say he’s broken in twitter they’ll nerf him
The thing is teros is not winning tournaments and never has unless literally the best player in a region gets on him like Godly or Kyna. Obviously the character is still good because he gets a decent amount of top 32s and even some top 8s, but he just isn't winning unless the absolute goats play him because they can win on any character they want to

Not an axe main but it isn't broken. Scythe is way more broken but axe just has a good matchup against it which is why everyone bitches about it, there are more scythe players than any other weapon.

5 WHOLE YEARS MAN, 5 YEARS
2016-2019 Teros was a meme character, and Ulgrim was STATISTICALLY the worst character ever, Queen Nai included. Then axe buffs came, they added special axe dair, lance got fixed (it was nerfed due to Cosolix) AND 5 YEARS, Every single weapon, ALL OF THEM, even schyte and sword got destroyed then buffed again in 2019-2024, even GS is back to being good this year, in 2024 they finally started doing big buffs too, finally after 2021 but no axe nerfs no matter what
Either down its damage SO MUCH that its speed makes sense or make it slow as hammer.
Hammer is strong too but never do I ever think "Wow that guys is being carried by his weapon" nah fam, every single dude who beat me with hammer was just simply better than me. Axe needs to be fixed.

feel the same way. if you lose to the teros axe well bros playing a broken weapon so next game no rematch. but if you lose to the hammer side of teros you probably just got outskilled in every way.

When I saw your Teros mirror match, it made me think about the last time I had a mirror match. I usually play as Dusk, Reno, or Ezio, and I genuinely can't remember the last time I had a mirror match with these characters. It's sad that in a game with almost 60 characters, we end up playing against the same 6 or 7 over and over again. :(

lmao yes, playing 2s ranked in low gold, its just all orion, queen, wu chang and teros. EVERYWHERE. I play more characters in 1 session than I play against BY FAR.
I'm glad that someone told about this problem. And it's mostly about wu shang and ulgrim, cuz it was very boring to watch last tournaments 😢😢

I know Teros is a super punishble character but the problem is the reward gap of him hitting you and you hitting him is like two planets long and probably the very main reason he,s so good is the stats which will never make him a bad legend 🤷🏼 also speaking of Axe that's probably what the next legend has😂
stopped playing ranked because it became axe/scythe simulator, its like 4/5 matches
I find the argument of there being too much consecutive games of Axe/Teros in higher ranked games as a reason for it to be nerfed is a fundamentally flawed concept. It definitely can be frustrating to fight the same thing repeatedly there's no doubt about that. However considering the majority of the player base made up of silver, gold, platinum and even the players who don't play ranked Scythe is still found predominantly everywhere across all elo ranges and it is in fact not fun to queue into a fight with mordex, artemis and nix constantly.
As you said in the video no one wants to queue into the same thing over and over but thats not an issue that can be addressed there will always be a new legend who will have the spotlight and draw in peoples attention.

the core reasons to why people play axe compared to scythe is completely different. Axe is broken and therefore played because of that and scythe is fun and the most popular weapon and is therefore played because of that (and obviously its pretty good)
@@PavelskiBH I'll use myself as an example but I like in other games playing the role of a tank or a juggernaut as well as in real life I appreciate weapons used throughout history such as in the medieval era you'd find axes, swords, bows, hammers, spears and even lances and cannons were used and I genuinely have fun playing these weapons in brawl and I know that isn't the same mindset everyone has but I have fun playing Axe not because of how good or bad it is but the sound design along with the choreography of the attacks and all the personality and charm from the axe legends really makes me happy.
I can personally say that I don't have fun playing scythe but I'm still able to enjoy some scythe characters despite that like Volkov, Artemis and Nix as I've put a lot of time and effort into learning scythe with an open mindset to appreciate what the weapon has to offer.

I actually queue 8 teroses in a row sometimes and they all legit play the same, camp and wait until I attack first every time and I need to get 10 hits to counter their 3. Ranked is actually a chore to play right now.

i think that a ban phase before the ranked match would make brawlhalla realize how much teros and shang/ulgrim are broken.

As a lvl 100 Jhala player, axe was always broken. Even before Kyna won the royale. Everybody just ignored it, and eversince Kyna won the royale with teros, it's been suddenly ''broken''
Caspian is my main in brawlhalla and i dont play teros but i dont think deleting him is a good idea maybe reducing his sigs and changing the axe is the best to do

As blasters main, I completely agree with you here, axe is too easy weapon and it literally takes no brain to use it, brawlhalla is not nerfing it properly for so many patches, while blasters are still trash compared to other weapons and they are buffing it too easy each patch...

i think axe players are not the issue. When you queve againts scythe mains they just hit fast combos that do a good jub. Axe is just strong in its own way, which makes people annoyed. But its just my opinion.

Imo, Teros only became REALLY popular after Kyna started dominating, but yeah axe is broken
it started with luna dominating the comp scene with teros and right after that axe and especially hammer got nerfed hard even kor who was a rly good legend at that times became basically useless

Personally as a Kor main I love that a hammer character is getting attention, but I am also tired of the teros axe and his signatures

As a gold player, I know I’m not that good at the game and there are still room to improve on, but axe in my opinion is the most annoying part about the game. It’s rly not fun to play against axe characters, I lost almost 7 games in a row because of axe.
Been completely off of ranked this and last season because of how infested the game is with lance katars and axe
imo the wu shang and ulgrim combo is strong but not only one, like the only thing why ppl are using only this combo is bc it works and they do not want to spent time searching for new combos.
(ps)i am prety sure tht with 62 legend we can esily find a lot of combos tht are way better then this one, we just need to try something new

Finally someone else makes a good video on this. Axe/Teros has been a problem for a very long time, and they haven't really done much to counter those issues (especially with the dash changes). #nerfaxe

We play against Mordex all the time, remove Mordex from the game too then
Complains about every weapon but scythe, which is unpunishable on: N-Light, S-Light, Sair, GC N-Light, recovery (if above), Dair (which hits everywhere). Not to mention all of the "grab" attacks minus D-Light have the world's most pathetic excuse of "timing" because the scythe can be completely inert and IN RECOVERY and decide to still hit. The least skilled weapon for damage. Absolutely a joke. At least it has no good killing combos.
That said, axe is a big problem because all of it kills (minus nair and s-light)

Was making a blanket statement that you are going around other big problem weapons. The game is in a rough spot, team combos that are too easy for too big a reward.
Axe, scythe, lance, katars and sword with too many good kill options and too few changes to balance.

Axe and lance are excellent weapons for new players just because of how easy they are to play. At least with lance there is some level of "skill" involved at higher elo whereas for axe higher elo requires far less skill than any other weapon
They need to remake the signs of Mirage too, as a main of Mirage, the hitbox is too small and so bad compared to others legends :(
You can feel and see hammer is a heavy weapon. I have to space and plan for the slow movements. Axe? Not even close for the amount of damage output. Axe is a spit in the face in heavy weapons.

Everyone complains about every weapon they aren't good at fighting. All weapons are viable and balanced its just that axe has a lower skill cap that makes it more accessible to more people which is why its used. Statistically it is not over represented in 1v1 top 12. If it was truly broken it be more over represented in top tournaments. In online ranked, like I said, the weapon is just a lower skill cap weapon which makes it possible for people to push elo.
Wu shang and ulgrim are not op, just because there are team combos doesn't mean they need to be nerfed all the characters have team combos that are so easy to do. Wu shang is already so nerfed and they nerf gaunts for no reason.

It’s crazy how Axe has not been nerfed as heavily in the past two years. I posted a video about this on my channel.
IMO, the problem is movement speed, in brawlhalla everyone can DASH FAST AF.
Compared to other games, where a Heavy character actually feels SLOW.
I think that making movement speed matter more in term of SPEED & DISTANCE of your dashes / The stun duration between 2 dashes would fix the game,
I tend to agree. About Teros, in particular. Axe. Yes. Also, those stats...holy jesus those stats. 7 attack, 6 defense? Plus nearly half bar of speed? Nah man... Thats broken. If you gonna go with 7 attack, you give it 3 defense. Thats how logic works in alot of games. And you give it also 3 or 4 speed. NOT 5. Just remove 1 point of strenght, add to dextery (becomes 4), like u did. And voila : Insane strenght, insane defense, great speed, and now decent attack recovery.

axe needs a mega nerf. its too reliant on a few specific moves and is way too fast
nerf katars, you need turbo adderall to beat it
gauntlets needs a nerf, everything gauntlets does is way too safe and if you whiff you have so many escape options
spear is boring. thats the take. not broken, just boring.
blasters need a buff, they got railed and never returned to a decent state
and finally canon is a sleeper pick, its insane, and imo needs a nerf.

I fully agree with u... That's why I stopped playing brawlhalla, the game isn't going in a good way (brawlhalla fest is a joke, new content feels a bit cheap, ranked matchmaking and I'm just scratching the surface) and I hope I can play it, and have fun again
teros is also one of the few legends where bmg didnt fuck up the stats (and they gave him broken sigs and a VERY GOOD weapon combo) like they did with queen nai (she has katars and spear but low dex and speed). like bmg would prob give a gs orb legend 10 dex while knowing that both weapons DO NOT need even 3-4 dex to play. as a gs main i hate fighting axe and ik that ppl say gs is broken but bro axe is undeniably worse ( 🤓).

Teros is a broken character, but as far as individual weapons go, katars and cannon need a nerf more than axe imo

a friend of me played against a teros al it took was 5 light attacks and 3 sigs and he was dead💀 also just my opinion blasters need a nerf it's just a pain to fight against
