Just found your work through someone else's video discussing the Castlevania Master System project and I had to take the time to subscribe and say thank you! I also found the VGM collection you made for that game and no cap...I got goosebumps while listening to all of them especially Nothing To Lose. I can imagine how frustrating translating music to the Master System's PSG can be as it lacks fundamental bass tones below A1 while pretty much everything else including the NES's Triangle bass handles effortlessly. But you masked it's shortcomings brilliantly by jumping up an octave or mixing the few low notes the PSG can do with the upper registers. You're also inspiring and motivating me to finally force myself to learn making music with Trackers. Any chip tunes I make are MIDI based with VSTs which gets me by with mock-ups but purists can tell it's not the same fidelity even when I limit the polyphony to the native hardware. I digress but anyway I can't wait for that project to be completed, you're a wizard among mages and thanks for contributing all of your fantastic work with the world! 😇

Thank you so much for your kind words :D
Trackers can look a bit scary at first but once you get used to one they all feel familiar (although now that furnace exists you don't really need anything else). Chiptune midi soundfonts are definitely fun but at the end of the day nothing feels better than hearing something you've made in a tracker run seamlessly on real hardware ;)
