Hello, if you apply an initial wash of enamel thinner to the model area you wish to add panel line accents the tamiya panel liner will flow more freely and it's easier to cleanup any area that needs it or has too much of the panel liner. Also using the dust from shaving a 4B drawing pencil with a bit of pressure you will achieve perfect blued gun metal as well as track links and bare metal edges on the turret, fenders and body etc. Hope you try these old ideas and incorporate them in your future builds. You do great work.

Hi dsmiles, thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it my friend. Also, thanks for the tips, I will use the thinner trick for panel liner, any help in getting the panel liner to flow is helpful. As for the graphite, it looks so good when used, but I have found that it doesn't like to be sealed with a clear coat, it practically disappears when sprayed. I mention it because I try to keep the finished models "dusted" and that has the effect of displacing the graphite, as well as dry pigments. What do you use to fix it in place so that it doesn't wear off? Johnny

I built two of the Tamiya Pz.IV D's last year for a Barbarossa diorama . The kit which came out in 1976 still has it and you have done it great justice . I added some 3D tool clamps and a set of metal tracks I had in my stash . I look forward to your next project .

I have just come across your channel. You have wonderful workmanship. One day I hope I can get the courage to have a channel as well. I am "No expert!" I just have a LOVE for the hobby for the past 30 years. I truly enjoyed your chipping, well done. If I may offer a suggestion, "NOT a criticism, " German armor had an anti-corrosion primer hull red. This applied with your light panzer chipping would have really popped! Please do not take this as a criticism, I am only a Mediocre Modeler offering a suggestion. Your skills, applications and videos are spot on, keep up the GREAT WORK! Model On....I look forward towards your next video!

Thank you William for subscribing and for your insights and suggestions, all is appreciated my friend. Nothing wrong with an honest critique. I am aware of the red primer that the Germans used, but worried that the red might take on a life of it's own, lol. I have only been back into scale modeling for a year now so nearly everything you see on my little channel is usually new to me, I am a amateur modeler but aspire to be better with each build. I try to add something new with each video and I hope you might find something new on the channel that you can use in a future project. Please feel free to comment on my videos, lets me know that someone is paying attention, hahaha! Also if you have any questions about what or how I did something just ask, and also let me know when I muck it up too! Thank you so much for watching and I will continue to strive to improve both the channel and my modeling. Model on my friend!!

All any of can do is try to get a little better with each project. Please remember, your not creating to satisfy us, your creating to satisfy YOU! Once again, your builds are very good my friend, keep it up.

Thank you William, and you are right that we build to please ourselves, that's what having a hobby is all about. My first videos are very basic, I hope you won't hold that against me, lol! But I am improving, I think?, have fun and model on my friend!!

Videos are very good but the background noise and siren are very very irritating - why do you need it???

Hi Lee, you must be referring to the background music, some people are more sensitive to some tones, sorry you found it so irritating. Take care and model on! Johnny
