Soccer players can be great at being kickers for football. I had a player on my team that switched and went to states. It just takes a little practice.

So yes he is the kicker and that's mostly what he does know sometimes they do a fake out which would mean the kicker would be the quarterback so fi they are a yard short of a first down they would go for but instead of having the qb do it they would bring out the special team to do which would be the kicker or punter depends on where they are on the field also to add on so when q team kicks a field goal or goes for an extra point than the punter would come out and kick the ball down field and the other team has 2 option 1 option is when they catch it they take a knee which puts them at the 20 yard line the 2 option is when they catch it they can run it which can get them further than the 20 yard line exactly at it or before it
