Thanks for the video. Just question: what the name of the tracks used in the background of this video?
Music for the video by Sting: Red light Green light (unreleased jam), I miss you kate (acoustic), Ain't no sunshine (acoustic).
I totally agree
I can't complain. Minor differences of opinion.
You're right.
The first three albums are definitely my favorites, from first to last. It's very hard to improve on a first of anything, whether it's music or movies or whatnot because all of the fresh ideas and creativity and raison d'etre go into that first effort. The Dream of the Blue Turtles is my favorite, hands down.
It's a historic album, right now I would rank it higher than I did, MErcury Falling I would rank a bit lower, in the end the first 4 albums are all high quality.
I get the ranking is one's taste, so I won't argue that. The best song on The Bridge is "Loving You" and on 57th & 9Th it's "Down, Down, Down"
I like both those songs. The Bridge I think you can listen to from beginning to end without skipping, 57th and 9th has 3 songs that I dislike, 50.000, Petrol head (aweful), and If you can't love me which sounds like an unfinished demo.
@amateurmusicresearch1972 I like if you can't love me. Very interesting construction for the song. The music feels manic and desperate, as does the lyric and Sting's voice on it. The original take on 50,000 is much better than the 2017 version as I think the lyrics are far more personal on the album version. Petrol Head I can take or leave.
Remember Q sound for Soul Cages? Still don't know what the hell that was about.😂
@@Rodeo1202yes it was hyped at the time. I can’t find info on it. The album definitely did have a higher sense of clarity.
I'd choose the top 5 in a different order but can't argue with that bottom one. Sacred love was pretty bad. I loved Sting for his intelligent lyrics but he chose to just insert "love" a million times instead of actually writing. My top is nothing like the sun.
sure, the top 4 are pretty much interchangeable, top quality stuff
