    can you please consider a tutorial that has some commentary or subtitles. Also it would be a lot more helpful not to have everything in the same color scheme so we can see what you're doing better. The brown background with the brown string and dark smokey quartz made it challenging to follow along. Also if you could back the camera up to see the strings better and not your hands as much that would be great. I really hope you make more there aren't enough tutorials like this out there.

    it would be very helpful to know how long the strings are :) thank for this tutorial, I try it when I know the sizes of the strings

    bonito, mas seria de bom proveito informar as medidas, mesmo que sejam individuais pro seu cristal, é uma base para nós que tentaremos replicar...

    Please, can you tell what is the length of the cord and how many of them needs?🥺

    At 0:29, it shows you adjusting the piece after you have already wrapped everything. Does the piece stay loose fitting around the crystal like that or do you glue it to make it stay?

    Lovely! How does the stone stay in? Glue?

      The stone is slightly larger on the end that will hang on the chain.

  • @MiauxCatterie

    what happened to the strings you cut at the end? they just disappeared? i know they must have gotten folded in somehow. but you don't explain that part.
    can you tell me which string to purchase and how long it should be? thank you.

    There is so much guess work in this tutorial. I feel like I have more questions than answers after watching it. This would be so much better if you would talk people through what to do rather than just doing it quickly and silently.

    I've always wanted to wrap a stone and include small stones with it but didn't know how. It's so helpful
    I have a question though
    Howcome the big stone doesn't slide out of the design after a while because the strings are not actually caught up in something?

    • @ingridgilbert4917
      @ingridgilbert4917 Před 7 lety

      I didn't make this but I'd say- most crystals taper bigger at the top narrowing down to the bottom so if you enclose the top and weave a snug band of a few rows it can't escape either direction. I did see another tutorial with waxed cord and a stone tapering small to large and she held it in with the sheer number of tight knots and waxed cord properties but I don't think it could be as secure as tapering large to narrow. I'd just select crystals for that.

    Hello what type of string are you using?

    • @LadyKiernacorn
      @LadyKiernacorn Před 6 lety

      Does it stay on tight or do you have to use glue? At 0:29, it shows you moving the piece around after it is all tied and it looks loose like the crystal could just fall out.

      Kelsey Peet I found it to be easy to follow. If you're not familiar with macrame it might be difficult. When I first started I was continually having to pause and rewind over and over again. Now, I get super frustrated with overly descriptive and slow tutorials.

    • @kesemija
      @kesemija Před 6 lety +2

      I am familiar with macrame, hence I could follow it. That doesn't change the fact that it's not a well made tutorial.
