      Hi Christine! Thank you for your kind words. Yeah sure, I studied MA in Healthcare Management in Accadis Hochschule Bad Homburg. I also applied in SRH Berlin and Furtwangen University. Back in 2017, there were only few schools offering these master and mostly private ones. But now I think there’s more uni both public and private.

    Hi Ailene, thank you for your video, such good quality and well spoken, not enough subscribers ... I have a question, what diploma did you have when applying for uni? Some universities actually only work with uni-assist and they say a filipino bachelor's degree is not enough for a German masters... (not the grades). Also did you have to notarize your degree before sending it to the uni? Thank you!

      Hi! Slots for the masters are usually open 3-6 months before the semester starts. I suggest tho if you want to enter a public university so you don’t have to pay huge tuition fees, at least 1 year. This gives you time to prepare for the requirements :)

    Hi, I am a finance graduate. Can I study a different program or if i want to shift career? also, since I am considering to shift careers, is it advisable to take bachelor's degree again or take the Masters?

    • @ailenegrey
      @ailenegrey  Před 3 lety

      Hi Jaira! This is quite a difficult question since I don’t know your background. I’ll try to answer it the best I can. 😉 I think it depends, if you want to go to a technical area, example from finance to IT or architecture or whatever, you might want to consider taking a bachelors again because they are very different areas. But if you want to go example from Finance to a specific management studies example digital marketing or healthcare, i think it is possible to do Masters. From my experience, it is a matter of how you sell your previous experience and how it can help you or contribute to further studies that you want to do. Do you plan to study in Germany?

    Hey ma'am! I've a doubt. Whether we need to show block account with a balance of 10,332€ for the first year of our masters or also show it for the second year? So totally 20,664€ or how..?? can you pls explain it?

    • @ailenegrey
      @ailenegrey  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi! For the blocked account just prepare 10,332 for your first year, that’s just the main requirement. Then the foreigner’s office will give you one year or two year visa. Once your visa expires, you need to prepare money again to prove you can live in Germany.

      @@ailenegrey can we show internship or any part time job during the second yr instead of block account money?

    • @ailenegrey
      @ailenegrey  Před 2 lety +1

      @@achieverhere3369 i am not sure about that. You have to check the current requirements. But based on my own experience and from international students i know, all of us prepared money in our bank accounts eventhough we have working student job/internship. It’s better to be safe than sorry. Of course not all of us can afford to save another 10k for one year so sometimes we borrow money from friends and then return it. That’s also one way.

    • @ailenegrey

      Of course speaking German is quite important when you live in Germany. I myself is currently learning the language. But the message I want to express in this video is that people should not be discouraged if their German is not good enough yet if they want to study or work here because there are plenty of opportunity in English. The language can be learned along the way.
