- Found this little mod released for Shift 2. It fixes the input lag that many people complained about with controllers/wheels. It also includes a new "Elite" difficulty AI that are more aggressive and better at driving.

this game has one of the best engine sound ever, but the handling is really bad
The majority of complains were because of the cars physics. They tend to bounce a lot and understeer.
I myself believe that this is the game making you feel as if you were really in the car. Some people just want a simulator to drive like an arcade. lol
Btw the handling mod helps a lot.

I checked on Amazon and the game got mixed reviews. So i didn't buy it.

this game is so horridly unrealistic,they claimed it rivaled forza and turismo in realism. im #1 in the world leaderboard in some forza4 track, i have the fastest 92escort in the world for fuji old-uphill A-class and both segments of that track as well, ect ect.. I CANT DRIVE STRAIGHT IN THIS GAME. i felt so bad after "buying" it, "nighttime in the ring" i was so excited! they should feel ashamed of themselves, and that is why im a pirate now. arg matey! >;D
shift2 is much better than modern sims like project cars, asseto corsa, rfactor2. and shift2 is really realistic, physics is good. of course is not perfect, but good.
You'd have to be drunk to think it's better than any modern sim. Maybe for the fact there's a career and customization, but the actual driving is horrible.
