    Good vid Rodney! I have 'em on my T7. Couple more good things about them. When you go down they act a little like crash bars and protect the bike and they don't dent or break like panniers. They distribute the weight better on my bike and put the heavy stuff lower and more forward. I bought two cheap Molle bags that go on the right and left. One for a handy water bottle plus some small stuff on the left and my Jet Boil goes in the one on the right. Love the velcro attachments they put on the straps to hold the excess after tightening. They've put a lot of thought into these bags. Looking forward to your video on what you pack. Interesting to see what someone else brings on a long trip!!

      So did you use mosko moto molle on the bottom? on the big molle panel? I was thinking water and tools in the aux pockets as well. all the weight as low as i can.

    I have the original V1. Love mine. But i chose to seperate the system. Had issues with carrying a larger tail bag. I used the Nelson Rigg 40L dry bag on top. It is wider than the mosko tail bag. So it made it difficult to pull out or open side bags. I literally screwed my to section to my tail rack and the sides to my Tucks pannier racks. Love it even more now. I know, if im.going to use pannier racks, why not buy panniers? Well i picked up my reckless 80 for $300 thats why. Love your stuff. You sont hold back any cuss words. Like it. Starting to do some vids myself. Dont have much there yet do to only a phone to use to edit. But just got my custom built for 4k editing computer. Soon will be posting a bunch. I think I have like 5 TB's of videos to go through. Lol. Lobe the new ktm over your Beemer.

    I’m thinking of putting these on my GSA. I have the Lone Rider Moto Bags, Overlander bag, a small tank bag, and a top box. It’s a lot. It’s fine if I’m touring on the road, but I spend half my time in the dirt or off-road and it’s too much. The rack is a pain to take on and off due to the Black Dog pillion plate I use, so I was thinking of just putting it over that. Would make it easy to use my Lone Rider bags too for road-only trips. Every weekend I’m not touring, I’m riding locally off-road and want to carry something that won’t break when I go down, and I often go down, keeps the weight closer to the bike, and can hold things like tools, medical supplies, a tent, a sleep system, and a stove with some food in the even I decide to keep riding and camp wherever I am. I’m even wondering whether I can slim down my touring gear to just use this. I like how o]it forces you to bring less, whilst also having the weight more central to better enable technical terrain.

    Thanks for a great video. I’ve been looking for a close-up breakdown of this system. On a different topic would you comment on what type of windscreen you are using. My 890 Adv R (same OEM screen) has too much buffering at freeway speeds. Looks like you may have sealed yours. Thanks.

    • @MobMoto
      @MobMoto Před 3 lety

      Im running a Madstad windscreen, and its better on the highway. I have done a video on that as well. The wind buffeting and wind protection is probably one of the bigger complaints on the 790 and 890s. Thanks for watching!

    Hi, I am not camping or overnighting. I am interested in a simple system of soft bags to safely carrying a tripod, large digital camera + lenses, and a moderate sized videocamera +lenses for daytime video/photo projects. My bike is a KTM 1090 R. Any suggestions? Thank you!

    • @MobMoto
      @MobMoto Před rokem

      Thats a good question.
      The reckless 80 bags are good for bringing camping gear, but the Reckless 40 is smaller and I think more ideal for anything less than camping gear or weekend trips.
      Since your bringing camera equipment maybe a hard pelican box might protect you gear on top and use the beaver tail that comes on Mosko reckless systems to secure it to the bike.
      I put my camera gear in the top bag to keep from getting smashed incase of a motorcycle get off or drop.

    When you go down to Cabo do you take the whole thing off or just slide out the waterproof bags. I dont plan on camping on any trips but I am looking for something easy to take into any hotels to prevent theft. I dont want racks either on my GS and like to be able to move the system between bikes. Thinking a r40 system might be enough. Trying to stay light ( i know a GS aint light ha ). Just some clothes and tools for trips around US and hotels. Hopefully Cabo someday!! Thx

    • @MobMoto
      @MobMoto Před 2 lety

      I dont think so on the 790/890. You could move it way back with a longer tail plate but then its not clearing the exhaust and will burn up and I don't think you could really fit a 2nd rider on there.
