I am not much of a vampire guy but I loved these two books. Not only is the story and characters great but I just love the way he writes…. Kristoff knows how to paint pictures with words.

It doesn't matter how much blood is drunk and spilled in the pages all these books are beautifully decorated and heart goes to them.
You are my inspiration man. If you upload it they will watch. Why spend 10-15 hours editing a 15 minute or less video? Keep on keeping on brother. God bless!

Good timing on this review; I finally started Empire of the Vampire yesterday.
I love that book series. Can't wait for part 3. By the way, " Interview with the vampire" the tv series is really good.
Bought the first book last year based on your review, and am also purchasing this book based on this review. Not enough good vampire novels!

5:50 Publishers say that can't publish big books because . . . except if Sanderson or Martin turn in a 15 lb manuscript they'll make an exception.
The quotation mark issue is why I'm not continuing onto the second book. It made the writing needlessly confusing to read in the first book and it's just annoying. I liked the story of the first book fine but I can't get past the writing mechanics to carry on with it.
