I'm so glad you could get this one out so early. Last night I was late to bed and was still keyed up. Now I can wind down before hitting the rack. Sucks to be old and have to get your 8+ hours of sleep to feel human. Looking forward to tomorrows segment.

one thing I notice Tadej doing regularly is sliding onto the back of other riders/trains moving up on the left to the front and then slotting in to the group; thus often moving up without putting his face in the wind
Lucca... we road from the east side below Abetone (sp? Ski area!), over and down to Bagni di Lucca, but then turned north, and over another pass to our cars (2003? 2004?), but never made it down to the coast. Killer Apennine loop.

How ridiculous was that rule regarding his shorts. He’s the leader of the race and that was the kit they gave him. Sound to me like the Organizers should take of the problem and Pog wears what ever he wants to until it’s cleared up. 🤷🏼♂️🦋👍

I'm really glad I found this channel and appreciate Chris' efforts. I can't understand NBC's thinking these days as to bike race coverage. Sure I like the call, but those guys in the studio last year for the TdF were dressed like undertakers and added nothing. Dammit, I apologize for the impromptu rant. Anyway, lovely show.

Ganna had also joined the breakaway in the first part of the stage, before being stopped by the team. He sort of complained about this in the post race interview with Italian TV. He really looked pissed off with the team.
Glad Jonas is outside on his bike; the TDF will be better with him in it.

Hey Chris, when you have a chance, can you educate us amateurs on how to fall without getting hurt? These pros fall all the time and (usually) hop on the bike. I ask because I fell a few months ago and broke both scaphoids (sp).
That’s probably one of the few things on the bike that I couldn’t explain. I have crashed enough times though that just before I hit the ground my brain feels it a second before that happens and then I get to feel it again when actually hit the ground. No kidding. I feel the crash twice. It not pleasant. 😱😱🦋🦋🤔🤔👍👍

I was wondering what your thoughts were on a rumor going around that the Jury was considering DQing Pogacar because he wore Purple Shorts with the Pink Jersey, even though this is what the Pink Jersey sponsors agreed on and UAE and Pogacar had no say in the matter? If this is true, the Jury is a bunch of Knuckleheads.
It was ridiculous. If the shorts are given to Pogi, then it’s someone else’s fault when he shows up wearing them. 🤷🏼♂️🦋🤔

Jonas had a hole in His lung and broken ribs... It's great that he can ride outside, but there is only a small chance he will be ready for the tour and almost zero chance he will be ready to ride on the front...
And he is skinny not because he is training, it's because he didn't eat any solid food for 2 weeks....
Happy thatbhe is recovering but let's keep realistic...
