People hate to admit it, but smooth criminal is BETTER THAN THRILLER. Both the song and video! The advantage thriller had was that it came FIRST. If smooth criminal came first, it would be regarded as the greatest music video ever and bad would be the best selling album of all time

I always liked to think that MJ brought the magic into the club, but it only exists there (when the kids went in, it was dusty) so when he screamed and the window broke, the magic left, and all the people (20's-30's ghosts) were begging MJ to bring the magic back, then he nods and agrees, does the arm thing and a chord shows up, then they all start singing and BOOM. He fills the club back up.

According to Michael from private home movies this is supposed to be chicago 1945. Its also kind of sad that smooth criminal lead to Michael having to leave his religion because he was acting with guns. Thats just messed up

well, here's some explanation that nobody asked for... this video is part of the Michael Jackson's movie "Moonwalker" the kids arrive to the Bar before Michael and find it completely abandoned, like a haunted house, that explain the lights when he enters, the surprise for the kids and the creepy scene because during all the video, Michael has been dancing with ghosts... also in that movie they filmed a "recreation" of the "Bad" video and the kid dancing in the alley was the same that played Michael in that video
