I agree with the pale blue have two myself but I also like my pale pink. That shirt sets a suit or jacket off. It is better then the white or blue in my opinion.

Well done. I particularly liked your use of the houndstooth pattern tie. Very classy.

Collar buttons undone on the oxford? This is allowed? Mind blown! going back to stare at my wardrobe for a bit.

Everyman should have a white shirt. I need to buy three (one is a more heavy weight), but 75% of my shirts are some kind of blue, be that stripes, checks, etc. I prefer smaller patterns. I do have a blue check shirt with small pink dots that can't been seen unless up close.

Fabulous advice! How do you get that rolled collar? If I wear a cutaway collared shirt unbuttoned, the collar always ends up outside the jacket and looks awful. (I have a bit of a "rugby player" neck).

Thank you for your kind words! For a clean and polished look with a cutaway collar, try using collar stays to help keep the collar in place and prevent it from folding outside your jacket. You might also consider a collar that is slightly less cutaway for a more subtle effect.

@@RampleyandCo Thanks for the reply. I have some collar stays so I'll give it a try.

Is that a black lounge coat worn with cashmere trousers? I’d wear a finely patterned light blue shirt with a starched collar.
The same as I would with morning dress.

I don't own many white shirts but many blue shirts. Stylish men prefer blue over white shirts.

White patterned/stripe shirts and textured white shirts are a waaay better option than just plain white, for sure.

White shirts are more versatile than blue shirts. Stylish men have them both in their wardrobe.
