I have cruised with NCL several times and am booked for another cruise in 2025. I am a big fan of Freestyle dining and have really enjoyed the different NCL ships I have been one. NCL does seem to have cut back on their shows, having cancelled shows such as Footloose recently.
We will be starting our 6th cruise (3rd with NCL) in Hawaii this October. We do like NCL though even with "Free at Sea" they still nickel and dime you.
There is still a little of that going on but overall it still adds better value for than being charge for drink packages and specialty dining. ❤ I wish more cruise lines would do this or something similar. More are starting to catch on.
the only thing that is unique to ncl is that they have the worst customer service in the industry.almost every cruise has problems and they do nothing for their clients.
That’s why it’s better if you locate a good travel agent. They take some of that stress off your shoulders. They have direct connections to their travel partners and many times they can add extra discounts and amenities. You should never pay more than booking direct with cruise line by using a travel agent. If anything you’ll save possible money and for sure keep that stress and frustration at bay. ❤

It can be disappointing when some of our favorite shows cancel or change. I love the beetles tribute band.
