Hey! Thanks for these videos. Do you have a video with a tighter overhead shot?
try this one, thank you for watching, like share and subscribe to help the channel. i hope it helps
Subscribed! Ive been waiting for a quality video like yours to tackle this job. Gonna do it this weekend. I got 2 of those codes but ALSO a P2723 Pressure control Solenoid Valve 5 stuck... Do you think this solenoid code will go away with his repair? Or should I just replace the whole TECHM? 2011 Gen1 6T75 thanks for this great shot
My 2008 buick enclave video has a better view.
Check the screen for the solenoids if it’s ripped and there’s metal most likely you gonna have to replace the TCM. Cuz once metal gets in it won’t come out. Sometimes it’s better to replace the valve body too. However if there is metal present you have a bigger problem
So i have code P0989 so if i buy the kit would it help ? Trans shifts hard and sometimes doesn’t work to go in 5th or 4th sometimes
It’s too late now. however you if you decide to fix your transmission you will need to fix the pressure switches anyway
Can you add a link to the repair kit and installation tools Please.
I bought my first kit from the transmission parts, but he closed now. the second one I bought from eBay but does not come with the box. let me see if I can find it in my account. and forward to you

That’s the one, I hope it helps. Thank you for watching. Like and subscribe and share it helps my channel
I just wanted to thank you again for the link. The parts were way cheaper on EBay just so you know. I got the whole kit and tools for $30.00 thanks again.
What symptoms would you encounter with p0877 and p0989? Can it be possible to activate other codes like for example tcs/abs fault codes?
It won’t activate any other codes. Actually you won’t even notice there are codes. The check engine light doesn’t come on. However you will feel like a delay or a hard kick sometimes
Sometimes it feels like the 6th gear is slipping and the rpm’s fluctuating
Ok, I’m currently working on a 2012 traverse and I have some tcs problems along with these set of codes. I reset codes and both of these keep coming back along with a c0161 and c0424 or c0242 not sure on the last code number. Thanks for the reply I appreciate it.
Does this cover the 2012 traverse?
yes, from 2007 till 2012 is the same, 2013 and up is a different system.
Hello sir will this fix aland parts listed also fix for a 2007 escalade AWD? My codes are p0842 p0872 p0989
Yes if the codes are related to the pressure switch. The same kit will work on the 6L90
Hey boss thanks for the detailed video, I'm actually doin the job right now, and thank good I took a photo before removing the laminates, because I found out one of the buttons had fallen out and I thought I had lost it, do you know what the name of the button is so I can search the part, I don't want to put it back together till I replace it
I don't have a part number for it, but I got lots of them here, look me up on fb and send me your address so I can send them to you
Okay I'll look you up what city you in, in case I need to narrow down my search for you
Having trouble finding you, my names a little unique maybe you can find me, it's Carlos Bestia Perez I'm in San Diego
Is it necessary to remove the gearbox for this?
No need to remove it. I did it like that because I was doing some work to the engine. You should be able to do it while in the vehicle
I get the error code p0989 fluid pressure switch low, it seems like a really big job......
It’s a big job but not that hard. You don’t have to remove the transmission nor the engine like I did.
I did that cuz I was working on the engine and transmission. It’s a little difficult because there’s not much room. If you don’t have much experience on cars I will recommend you to take it to a shop that works on these transmissions
Those switches always go bad I have replaced hundreds of them. Some shops miss diagnose this transmissions because of it.
Do you know how much will it cost me, if I take it to a shop? thx@@antonioaguirre6166
