We are doing everything we can to satisfy the huge demand and we look forward to seeing you very soon in our participating Swatch stores." Also, they will eventually be available online too
Just looking on ebay and there's one currently for £1500 with two days left, what people fail to realise is that they'll be available online soon and they aren't a limited edition either. And worse is you can buy a used speedy for not much more. Proper madness.
So I just watched a video of a guy who went to the king of Prussia mall in pa, they got there about 11:30 pm and his video shows the flyer from their store stating that they will only have about 50 of watches, and it was a limit of one per person. They left since there were over 100 people in line already figuring they wouldn’t get one. I never expected this to be so crazy, maybe I’ll get one eventually, but it’s something I want - not need.
Well chosen preferences! Moon or Mercury for classic look. Mars for look and historic link. Uranus for great look!.. I’m ok with Sun - but the only ones I wouldn’t buy at RRP are Saturn (poo brown) and Venus (love the pink - but annoyed at the “feminine” details that just don’t have the right vibe - like maybe they are slightly talking down to women in that design..)
It is a Mission to Ouranus and it is working perfectly. Next we'll have a Swatch Daytona. Consumers can't be that silly.....don't underestimate us. Of course we can!
I’ve tried to call two stores about 75 miles from me, according to their website states that they will have them, no one answers the phone. Not greedy I only want one, probably the Saturn or the mercury one, I want to know the store has it if I go that way. Make a day trip of it, take the wife out to eat, etc. I think these will probably go around $500 on the secondary market. I wanted to go get one today, it’s not happening. I didn’t expect the stores to be crazy since not everyone does the watch thing, but like I said they don’t even answer the phone, maybe I was wrong.
I bet their phones are ringing off the hook. I think the demand for these is through the roof. Hope you snag one and have a nice day trip and lunch with the wife! 😊
Hi, the Omega Speedmaster Pro is my grail watch and I hope to buy a sapphire sandwich 3861 in about 5+ years. I was excited when they released this MoonSwatch as I thought that it would scratch my itch until I got my grail. However, this mad rush for these watches made me think of the Bulova Lunar Pilot. For a small amount more I can get a better watch. I did that and have ordered a Lunar Pilot, what do you think of my choice?
My top three are also moon Mercury and Mars, first the moon as it’s the closest to the OG speedy and more versatile for strap changes etc, and then Mars for the collection. Nice video.

MoonSwatch doesn't really excite me since it is not a limited production. I feel like a lazy attempt to earn some quick money with the Omega name. If it was a new design then I would have felt different.

If you dont have one and want to know how the stem or pusher feels, just get an old toy Mickey Mouse watch. Wait, those are metal stems....well, get a Casio chrono instead for the feel of the pushers. Please dont do a video on how different it is to a column wheel or cam lever.
The prices(on the secondary market) certainly seem out of sync with the quality of the watch. Which Speedmaster do you have? I'd love to get one of my own someday.
@@cuckooforwatches382 I recently was lucky enough to buy the new speedmaster metas certified one these swatch versions are toys and I am not shitting on people who can’t afford the real one , I understand they are expensive luxury watches, I get it, but stop this bullshit please, they are not speedmasters simple as that

They are cheap plastic copies with quartz movements but they look fantastic. The marketing is genius because the only input from Omega is permission to use the brand name. They are real Speedmasters, not copies or fakes, and it is brilliant for millions more people, even kids, to be able to wear a Speedmaster. But they are plastic, cheap and should never be worth more than $260.
This is the absolute peak perfection in watches. The rest of you may never be able to buy it ever again. Opportunities like this come once in a lifetime.

Yeah, thats what I'm hearing from other locations as well. Super long lines everywhere and not enough watches to go around.
