It’s weird because you’d think kenzie would have seen her at L’Equipe Etoile’s studio, unless Maria was the ‘Nick’ of L’Equipe Etoile and never stepped foot into the studio for a good few weeks 😅🤣 maybe she was at the Taylor Swift Eras tour with Nick!!!

Exactly my thought process it would’ve been better if someone else said the talking head of “what’s Maria doing here” then kenzie would’ve been like oh guys I forgot to tell you… Mariah is studio head that would make so much sense because why is kenzie more confused than me 🤣

Alishea has finally jumped on the Peath and Andele train! Love it! I love how they started to win you over near the end!😁 They are all so cute! The prom and party scenes were fun and definitely the highlight! Everybody looked so cute and beautiful in their suits, clothing and dresses!
Ethan and Gui flirting with each other? Cute! Kenzie helping Ethan out with French to impress Gui? Adorable! Ebby and Izzy being annoyed at Remi for being the better person? Hilarious! Heath and Adele getting their hearts broken over Anthony and Pascale? Heartbreaking! That gave me Emily and Hunter vibes all over again and I’m still not over them either. Ariana, Olive and Jett giving Anthony the death stare for hurting Adele? Even more hilarious! Pete and Kenzie making up? Love it! I just wish Kenzie had remained dance captain though.
Maria’s entrance? Dramatic and iconic! Just what I expected from her! I knew Grace was setting the scene for her to walk in but I was so surprised to know that she’s become studio head of France. It makes me wonder how she did it and since Kenzie is also surprised, she must have been in hiding somehow when Kenzie was at their studio lmao. I’m curious to know how she pulled this off but it now makes sense to why Grace teamed up with France for this moment. Also Eldon back as DJ and Nick looking dapper? Love it!
Only 3 episodes left! I still wish Internationals could have last longer but I’m curious to see how this season will end and I still hope we get a season 10. #TNS10WHEN
Maria coming back is just crazy cause if this was real life 1 how would kenzie not realise and 2 why is she do invested in a random studio like why is she so petty and adamant to take down The Next Step.

Maria probably didn't move to France she probably just waited to see who was paired with Canada, then bought the position or something. Also since L'Équipe Étoile were runners up to Geminis she know they were the next best team in the comp
If they give grace any type of redemption I will be mad cuz she is just crazy. Keep her as a villain.
I find it soooo convenient that Maria is the studio head of team France, like this woman moved to an entire different country to lead their team, she's givinggg studio hopper like jill vertes from dance moms 😭
also how is it that the studio head vacancies of TNS's "rival" team for the season always seem to be empty and it's by chance the studio head of a past rival can just get the job each and every time 😭
maria went from a dancemania judge, to a studio head of ultra elite to the studio head of L'Equipe Etoile lmaoooo and ngl idk why I thought she was miss Angela at first when she walked in haha 😭
i got the exact same vibes with camille and pascale and heath with Amanda, Emily and hunter like i wish pascale would just speak up and I didn't really care about them tbh until this episode too like they did have the chemistry which is why i wish they did have more screen time and development in the previous episodes so we could hate camille and team France even more, just like how Emily and hunter had development which is why when Amanda made Emily break up with him, we hated her even more. this episode kinda is like the last ep before the big competition so it gave me flashbacks of the pyjama party in season 1, and then the escape room scenes in season 6 a little which is nice to see.
but i can't believe we're going into internationals having seen barely any dancing like i can't even describe how a single routine looks because we haven't properly seen them, so i hope it all goes well for tns 😭
Maria is my favourite villain from any season, (aside from the marvellous grl pwr that is Tea_Ara Bling) she is just acted so well

They're still my favourite ship as well. I will never stop being salty over their breakup. Miscommunication taints almost every TNS ship, I swear💀😂

It’s so weird, the first half of the season all the characters were talking to each other, there wasn’t any contrived misunderstanding and now no ones actually talking.

I wonder how the rounds are gonna work... because let's say Pascale and Ariana compete in the solo round... If it's only Canada versus France, neither will be eliminated, right?
they'll probably make it so each round is worth a point and if you win you receive and the one with the most points win. Or after each round you get a score and they all get added up until the end to see who has the highest score, and they will win. these are just guesses tho😭

This episode is great, very wholesome. Absolutely loved watching it 🥳🥰 My only complaints. Surely Maria wouldn’t become studio head of the French team, just to try and take down The Next Step? That would never happen in the real world 😂🤭 Also. Kenzie would have met the French studio head whilst she was there, no? 🤔😬 Hmmm. Either way. Looking forward to seeing how it all ends. This season has been pretty good. I have really grown to like this team. The best one since season six for me 👑👏🏻
I am thinking that when Kenzie went to France maybe Maria didn’t like go to the studio while Kenzie was there so she wouldn’t find out that she is the studio head

Theory for Internationals (absolutely don't think this will happen but fun to think about) - Grace dances for France/Maria at Internationals
Someone else already commented this but to add on regarding the rounds for internationals if they arent gonna be sudden death elimination like they usually are (which seems likely) then i assume it'll be best 3/4 if not a point system maybe. That being said, i assume this means tns will lose one of the rounds for drama sakes and im gonna guess its gonna be the small group dance.
For solos i think Pascale has more to gain from losing then ariana does and for the duet i doubt Anthony and Adele will lose to an unamed duo (who knows though). In the trailer it does look like Kenzie might be dancing with Team France and it seems that Pascale is dancing with A-Troupe so the twist might be that they need to dance with their exchanged dancer and Kenzie and Team France might get the win (for more drama)
Tbh I'm still unsure if Heath in the bird costume is the final dance or if it's Olive in the red dress. I think the red dress dance is the last one but idk i could be totally wrong about everything lol

Anyone else given up on The Next Step CZcams channel? Very disappointed, a great part of the show is able to see the dances in full. Literally, what is going on? No dances from 8B onwards...

I really enjoyed this episode. I love that the whole Team France arrived. I love Adele's solo. I like that the party is like prom in Season 6. Remi's apology to Ebby wasn't genuine. I feel bad for Pascale having to choose between her team or being with Heath. I didn't expect Maria to be Studio Head for Team France. I love Ethan and Gui's interaction. Anthony and Adele both have feelings for each other but are too nervous to admit them. Camille and Grace are definitely creating drama to make sure that Anthony and Adele's chemistry is off. I feel so bad that no one talked to Niall or even interact with him, I have a feeling that he might be the alternate that's just a theory. I'm looking forward to your next 3 reaction video when I return home from vacation.

In season 3 Ella the exchange person was so connected but we bearly know pascale and Ella came back in season 4 I just think they could of done more with that and her secret because it wasn’t really a secret 😂

Bc if she faked it and later on went back to him (bc she obviously won't be hiding it forever), next year her team won't let her compete or even be on the team, and no second chances after that ever again, so ofc it doesn't sound tempting.
I really liked how the characters were dressed in their signature colours (the same as their usual dance outfits) Adele in green, Olive in light pink, Ariana in dark pink, Jett in burgundy, Ebby in yellow, Kenzie in blue and then also the camo green that tends to be in Izzy's signature colour too. Even Grace in that purple.
Imo, I Dont care for pascale and heath😭😭 I just feel like they didn't get enough screentime for me to care that much About it

What confused me was that when Camille and pascale where talking in Studio 1 they were talking English which is confusing because they’re both french. I know it’s so we understand but it feel u realistic. They could’ve put English subtitles

I’m surprised they haven’t done an official podcast yet with how long the show is going and I feel like they won’t do a tour now unless they bring back some of the of old A Troupe now because I feel like the new cast hasn’t really connected that much with a lot of the fans because it feels like this season has been rushed a bit ?

You can tell they’re incorporating past seasons in terms of a relationship that won’t last more then 1 season (Abi and Noah) or a relationship what we don’t see for a large chunk of episodes in between (Cleo and Jude - season 7)
I’ve just realised they said France was 2nd place during last years internationals but I thought it was postponed a year unless it was only nationals postponed for Canada and internationals still went ahead

I truly hope that Maria didn't rig Internationals just to compete against TNS... I'd rather it just be an annoying coincidence. There's only so much of a childish grown-up I can take. And isn't her biggest beef with Richelle anyway? And most of the team is different to Dancemania's so is Maria going to beef with all future TNS kids? I hope not. 😂

With you mentioning the talking heads being in their heads and their opinions and I hadent noticed it before and now I’ve just realised the season 4 scene with James and Riley where he gives her a promise ring is a pointless thing
Talking heads are weird bc sometimes the characters address like there is someone there.
Like there was a scene where Eldon was running through the talking heads areas
I could not stand this episode. To me the show has gone way down hill storyline wise. It seems too many phopas in storylines that don't seem to properly go anywhere. There is too many plot holes and things not mentioned. Some things happen without a real lead up as if it happened partly off screen without us knowing and continuety in some storylines not there. Plus you can tell the budget has gone way down for the show.
Girl just stop watching then if the show has gone downhill it will save your energy lol

The sabotage has too be the fact that ebby films there god damn duet and there choreography gets stolen 🥲
Also Ethan is in costume so I think they switch alternates and make Niall the alternate
